Where in Arizona did you wind up transplanted to, star?

My husband is currently stationed at Fort Huachuca. About an hour east (and south) from Tucson.

I watched an episode of "Outlaw" the other night and they acted like Tucson was right on the border of Mexico. I laughed so hard. Characters were hanging out by the border as if it only took them 5 minutes to get there. Massively inaccurate. I'm near the border. In fact, I have to go through a border patrol check point every time I drive up to Tucson.

Does it matter? She's sadly in Arizona.

My brother and his wife relocated to Arizona from Utah about a year ago. Like i told my brother when he asked me if i would ever consider moving to AZ: I would rather be dead in California than alive in Arizona.

I don't know about that. I grew up in So. Cal. (escaped when I was 17). I like Arizona much better. You can't pay me or threaten me enough to agree to move back to California.

Ah. Well I don't blame you then. I've only been down that way a few times, and as a recent transplant (four years ago) I'm still not savvy with the hate for the IE personally, but everyone I know from around there feels pretty much the same way you do.

That said, the initial charm of California and SoCal has steadily lost it's luster in the last year or so for me. Eh.
