Noah's ark anyone?

You guys are not the only ones who were flooded. While it wasnt as bad as in NYC, i still pumping water out of the workshop, and its been three days. I dont even want to think about what happened to the car. Hopefully it survived since its fairly old (1965). But thank god we got the peugeot out before it flooded.

^ We got a massive amount of flooding down here as well. Upstream, the Corps of Engineers has been releasing a greater than normal amount of water from dams, because of massive snow melting and rain. So downriver, we got the flooding on a massive scale. I think the Missouri's at least 10-15 feet over its banks.

If I didn't know any better i'd say that's a pic of the woods around the corner.

Agreed. It looks just like right here in California.

Hard to believe that's in Rome. Pretty scenery, though.

We had a massive amount if rain yesterday. Our basement got flooded and I had to run out to Home Depot to get a shop-vac and sumppump. This taxi was stuck in the parkinglot.

While I'm glad we're not flooded, I'm still jealous as hell. New York is having that wonderful weather and we Californians are stuck with this sunny, 90 degree heat.

I can't wait until January.

A-frickin-men. 98F up where I am. I'll take a foot of rain right now!

(I just hope the meter on that cab ain't running...)

That taxi is a clear example of why you should never drive into standing water you don't know the depth of.

Man something like that almost happened to me. I didn't realize how deep some water was on a street near me. I went in since i actually needed to do something that day. I seriously felt like my car was about to float away. Thankfully it wasn't too deep, so i was able to get out of that and i GTFO.

"I already told you. Put the damn camera away! It makes me look ten pounds fatter!"

Actually, I was aiming for a small town 20 miles south of Stockholm, Sweden. But now that you mention California, looks a lot like San Bernardino. There is a similar bridge there too. Then again how many wooden bridges do you think exists in the world...

EDIT: Damn I miss California. Its beautiful out there.
