In the past I've tried, but I prefer the no facial look. Took the picture below earlier today, and still feel like I need a shave (which I'll do later most likely)

I know I am. 'Cept I can't grow a goatee no matter how hard I don't try.

I totally dig the goatees. Loved it when the hubs had one. But the Army doesn't dig 'em, so the closest I can get is scruff he can grow on a 4 day weekend. *sigh*

Actually, strictly speaking, most of the beards we're seeing here are not goatees. A goatee is a chin beard without a moustache.

According to my information, when it's worn with a moustache, a chin beard is either a "circle beard" or a "Vandyck," depending on whether the ends of the moustache grow into the beard (thus forming a complete circle) or not.
