OMG, Karen. You can't just ask people why they're white!

There were at least three Ziyals. Were they all dorky.

The daughter of Space Hitler was dating a serial killer by the end.

The (primary) actress thought that she was playing a Disney Princess.

Disconnected from reality much?

Oh?

Sorry.

Disconnected from fiction much?

I never liked Ziyal. Sure I feel sorry for her bad childhood but she's just annoyingly precious. And the Garak thing was awful. She's looking for a father figure that works better than her real one and he's looking for innocence that will absolve him. If something so precious and innocent can love him, he must be okay.

After her childhood and considering her reception in life she should have been a wild little shit.

Ziyal deserved better than a disruptor blast to the chest, that's for sure. I never liked her relationship with Garak. It made him look like a dirty old man, and it made her look like a gullible schoolgirl. But she was an interesting character and represented hope for a better future between Bajor and Cardassia. It's a shame she didn't survive the war. She would have been an excellent person to lead relief efforts on Cardassia after it was over.

I could have sworn I'd seen a Cardie or two that was pinkish, like almost a Silly Putty color. Could be wrong.

There is a shortage of perfect breasts in this world, it would be a pity to d... Oh? Never mind, there are plenty of mediocre breasts, blast away.

Her death was used well, very gutsy thing to do. It was a helluva lot better than Jadzia's death.

Jadzia should have died in "Change of Heart." It would have opened up a lot of possibilities for the rest of the sixth season and for the seventh season, too. Also, it would have provided extra incentive for Sisko in convincing the Romulans to enter the war.

AND it would have been dramatic and tragic and made everyone cry.

All the Cardassians we saw in The Wounded have a more human skin tone.

...Or at least appear to. The episode has terrible color quality right now (one of the very yellow episodes) but we'll know for sure soon when season 4 comes out on Blu-ray. :)

Seska was surgically altered to appear Bajoran. The first time we saw her after her defection, she said she was "in the process of restoring [her] Cardassian physiology," and her makeup was sort of an intermediate stage between Bajoran and Cardassian appearances, with subtler ridges and pinker skin than the Cardassian norm. Apparently the "process" never got much further than that, since she retained that in-between look for the rest of her time on the series.

I guess that she didn't bring along enough of the Cardassian Restore Brew for the journey. Therefore the process didn't get any further.

But despite that, she did find love. Culluh became the love of her life. Ah, they were such a beautiful couple! :bolian:

He loved her, but she might not have believed it or believed that Kazon love is like real love between actual people.

He's been an emperor all his life maybe, worshipped as a god.

What he wanted, was someone worthwhile to give his love to.

Women are buckets for what we have to give.

That would look lovely on a card. With a nice drawing of a spittoon.

Cullah has his son now, who will end up being smarter than most Kazon I'm sure. He'll do his dad proud. That's a story I'd like to see if we ever get Trek set in that century again. He makes his way back to the Alpha quadrant with a fleet of ships, driven by the stories his father has told him of his mother's worlds.

OH HECK we already had Nero from the future, JJ could just give us the kid popped out the other end of some time travel thingie.

Relativistic travel to the alpha quadrant takes minutes, then sling shot around a few suns to recover the lost 70 thousand millennia.

Piece of piss.
