I wish I could make the draft. I tried to get a sub for pool league tonight, but all of our subs are already filling in for other team members.

Well then I might as not worry about tonight's draft either. You say that every year.
I'll be honest, I don't think I had a good draft. When you draft your first bench player in the 3rd round, that's not good. I'll see what happens and maybe be even surprised but I wish I had done better. As for the autopick picks, I was trying to set it up to not take the pitchers I ended up taking. Hopefully the waivers go through and I get Aki, and the other two guys. Like I said, see what happens.
Is there a way to shorten the wait for waivers? 3 days seems like a long time.
My first thought when I looked at what Auotdraft had done was "Crap- that's the team I'm stuck with?" After looking at it a bit longer though, I think it may have potential. I'm going to have to tinker a bit (I'm hurting at several positions), but considering that I only spent a few minutes tweaking my rankings, I'm okay with the outcome.

I love my team - drafted half-and-half live and autodraft. I've got some good big boppers (MCabrera, ARam, Ludwick, Holliday), and my pitching staff is da bomb (SP - Sabathia, Liriano, Nolasco, Danks; RP - KRod, Nathan and Fuentes). Don't have much speed though (oh well, I'll just have to win 9-1 each week), and my outfielders are a little weak (nothing a few good waiver pickups won't help).
Totally stoked for tonight's draft!

I really like the team I ended up with in the Yearly league. Just felt I had a really good draft, the right-valued players were falling to me in just the right spots, didn't really feel like I was making any bad picks or stretching too far for a player, just had a good feel to it. We'll see come game day, but i love where I started in this league.
As for the Keeper draft tonight? Don't worry about it, all the good players will be signing with the Ken Walter Fan Club, because they know that's where you go for the best shot at a Championship Ring

My team is ok I guess. Just not feeling all that hot about it after the draft ended.
Overall, I'm happy with my draft, though I made one mistake at the end and had to correct that oversight.....
