If there so concerned with the budget.. why did they just greenlight Jen and the holograms? 80s cartoon that no one remembers, and a movie 10 years ago that bombed. That gets the ok? Ok..

Hmm, I wonder why they would greenlight something which will likely star good looking young people going on adventures and singing songs, especially in a market which has K-Pop Demon Hunters showing there's merit to this idea. Confounding me, that is.

I’m assuming you’re talking about Hazbin Hotel? Yeah, that show doesn’t really do it for me either. But, historically, animated series basically cost a lot less to produce than VFX-heavy sci-fi shows. Nature of the business I guess… 
Hazbin Hotel isn't my jam either, but it's clearly working for Prime otherwise they would have pulled the plug by now.

I'll take K-Pop Demon Hunters over more Stargate, thanks. It's an original IP that managed to appeal to both younger and older audiences while empowering young women and people of Korean descent. I'd rather see something new succeed than watch Hollywood dig up another decades old sci-fi franchise and hope nostalgia does all the heavy lifting.

Amazon is a pretty evil company regarding labor rights and other issues so cancelling Stargate isn't really the main reason id hate such a company. It doesn't help that they have nothing to watch on their streaming service, which I don't have as such lol
