The first link and the third link don't actually say that these are the versions with original effects, so I can't rule out the possibility that these are all remastered episodes that have separate listings by mistake.
Can anyone in the UK confirm that the unremastered version of TOS is really available in HD over there? Why do you think Americans got stuck with the SD version? Is it possible to access Amazon Prime UK with a VPN if you already have a Prime subscription in another country?
