Anybody else notice that his uniform is tailored much better than hers.
But if they meet someone who wants to restore the Federation, it would probably be a symbol he (and they) adopt in some form to signify: "Hey we're BACK!"I doubt there's an arrowhead in the oval. In the trailer, when Cleveland Book sees the arrowhead on Michael's uniform he says "I see you believe in ghosts" implying that symbol is no longer active in 32nd century civilization.
I like this theory! I wish I had mentioned it in my video! I was thinking more Bajoran but this connection is better, great catch!![]()
Reminds me of the 30th anniversary logos.

This is my extrapolation of the season 3 Discovery badge:

I think it's the rank on the right-hand side, with 4 segments/pips for captain, 3 for commander etc.
Either an ensign or a lieutenant if you count the large part as a second pip... or maybe the horizontal lines are the rank indicators not the gold parts...So the one in that pic would be... a Lieutenant JG, then?
Here's a better view:

I'd have preferred the TNG-style 30th anniversary logo, personally.
It really isn't.This is pretty generic
It really isn't.
You keep using that word, but it's clear you don't know what it means.
I know exactly what it means.
The combadge is an oval. It has no style of its own.
I thought it looked familiar. Its OK.![]()
