New Enterprise fan

I watched "Hatchery" and "Azati Prime" tonight. Hatchery was another meh episode. I've seen the mutiny story done a million times by now. Nothing new there. I knew something was gonna be wrong with Archer as soon as he got hit by that spray.
Azati Prime on the other hand, WOW! I can't believe that wasn't the season ender. It was nice to see all the little pieces of the season get tied together in this one. It was nice to finally see how was responsible for those spheres. And dang, did the enterprise take a pounding! I sure hope we don't see yet ANOTHER miraculous repair of the ship through some kind of time altering means from daniels. Really anxious to see the next episode "Damage." I'll probably watch it tomorrow night.
Wow, you're showing a lot of restraint!
I still remember the shock of the sight of Enterprise drifting lopsided in space as those damned words appeared on the screen:
TO BE CONTINUED...:scream:

Actually To Be Continued never appeared at the end of the episode - just a slow fade to black; and the 'Executive Producers' slate followed by ending credits.

To be nitpicky, there was no "To Be Continued" on the screen at the end of "Azati Prime." I do know the feeling you mean, though.

Oh, I thought that was one of the episodes where they did that... In any case, I was still freaking that it was over for that week.

one of the things I loved was the fact that the ship never really recovers. For the rest of the season Enterprise has huge gaping holes in her hull plating. And "damages" (i think the best episode of season three) deals entirely with the ship being, well, damaged.

Jinx, glad yours was the first comment I saw, so I won't scroll up to read anything.
Yeah, I took a break from enterprise. I'm also in a major Indiana Jones mood thanks to the new movie coming out in May. I've been watching the older movies.
But I'll have plenty of viewing time for Enterprise this weekend. My girlfriend has to work all weekend. Thankfully, I have weekends off.

:) The one directly above mine was a problem (not a huge one, but I thought it was prudent to remind that for you specific comments about what's coming up are spoilers.

I remembered that being the first time since I'd started posting on this board that the 'shipper threads had dropped to the second page--which at that time was saying quit a bit. EVERYONE had strong feelings about that ending. I almost hated that I had a school trip to go to and missed out on the first few days of excitement. :scream:

I didn't mind it, really. I did hate that the following two episodes were so lackluster.

I loved Azati Prime as well. Seeing the weapon underwater was so cool. The crew interactions in that one were superb.

I just finished "Damage." Wow, another home run!
This show was incredible, it took risks. Seeing Archer board that ship and steal something from an innocent bystander, showed how far he's willing to go to save earth. The subplot with T'Pol using drugs was also risky. I don't think a main character from any trek series has been showing having a dependence on drugs. I'm going to try and finish the 3rd season today.

I just finished the third season.
I"ll just sum up the last five episodes in one word: outstanding. It was nice to see all the plot pieces of the season come together. I was shocked to see Hayes get killed off. Those last two or three episodes would have worked great as a film. The action, story, visual effects were all very well done. My only minor gripe is Shran's coming out of nowhere. That felt forced, to see him just thrown in there.
Now, I'm very interested to starting the fourth season. The last 10 minutes of "Zero Hour" was a major WTF moment. Nazis? Aliens as nazis? the shuttlepod being attecked by airplanes? I'm at a true loss. I don't see how the ship could have gone back in time. The Aquatic ship gave the Enterprise a lift to Earth.
It's really a tie between season 1 and 3 for favorite season. I was really impressed with season 3.

I don't think it was out of nowhere. I think Shran was trying to make it up to Archer after the events of Proving Ground. Archer is a trusted friend to Shran.

It's hard to get me to complain about Jeffery Combs showing up.

I got through "Storm Front I & II" and "Home." Wow, was Storm Front a confusing convoluted mess. I'm just glad the temporal cold war has finally been put to rest.
I liked "Home." It was nice to see an episode kind of like TNG's "Family." Where the crew could reflect on what they'd been through the last year. I was shocked by the ending, seeing T'Pol actually go through with the wedding.

I hated Stormfront, primarily because it disrupted the crew's homecoming, which IMO, should have been a two-parter (at least, I think there was enough potential material to go three eps.). With at least 2 episodes, there would have been time to give more attention to everyone.

ETA: And to this day, I don't see why the death of one stupid, ugly alien brought the entire TCW to an end.

I was pleased they went through with the wedding - one of the most Vulcan things T'Pol did in season 4. More over, I was happy it wasn't a last minute save. That would've been predictable. Keep your eyes peeled and let me know what you think. I have some thoughts about what happens next, but don't want to spoil you.

On Storm Front -- yes. You are absolutely right. It was rather a large and confusing mess as well as a terrible way to end the Temporal Cold War.

I have yet to hear of anyone that liked Stormfront. F:censored:ing mess, all right.

Nice to hear Soval finally admit that Capt. Archer wasn't just a trouble-causing fool. That was getting a little old.
