Yeah, that was pretty bad -- a total embarrassment...indianatrekker26 said:
The T'Pol subplot, on the other hand, good grief! What was that? a desperate ratings ploy to show off jolene blalock? ugh.

I just hope this season-ender isn't wrapped up in one episode next season.

I got through a few episodes of the third season this weekend. Wow, what a difference! Next episode I'll be on is "The Shipment." This season has, so far, been incredible. I find the expanse a fascinating area of space. "The Xindi" was kinda boring for a season premiere. It felt like more of the same. Oh no! Archer is trapped and has to escape! But "Anomoly" was TERRIFIC! that should have been the season premiere. These spheres are very interesting. I will say the one thing about "The Xindi," i was shocked to see the Xindi homeworld already destroyed. That confused me. "Extinction" was pretty neat. I thought it was an intriguing idea to have a race create a virus to keep their race alive. "Rajiin" was average. "Impulse" was pretty good. I have to say the visual effects on this show are outstanding. That asteroid field was one of the best i've seen, maybe surpassing the asteroid field in star wars episode II. "Exile" wasn't bad. Even if it was a beauty and the beast update of sorts. I'm interested in finding out why these spheres were placed here. Overall, great season so far.

"The Shipment" was really good. It was nice to see the Xindi finally get some depth.MattJC said:
What did you think of "The Shipment"? I always liked that episode.

Got through a few more episodes tonight. "Carpenter Street" was very blah for the most part. I'd sure like to know how those Xindi were able to travel through time. I did like the scene with Archer and T'Pol figuring out how to drive the truck. It was a nice homage to TOS' "A Piece of the Action."
"Chosen Realm" wasn't bad. It was nice to see some more expanding of the spheres. But the taking the ship over plot, i feel, has been done to death.
"Proving Ground" Great episode! Nice to see Shran again. He is becoming my favorite guest starring character. Loved the dynamic between Archer and Shran in this one.
"Strategem" was so-so. I liked the twists in that one. Although I'd love to know what this 3 week diversion would be diverting them from.
"Harbinger" was interesting. I liked seeing the Reed/Hayes interaction. That was some good stuff. Great to see more covered on those Spheres. I sure hope to find out who made those things and why.
"Doctor's Orders" great great episode. I gotta say, I kinda was suspicious that there was some twist to the episode. Once it was shown about T'Pol, i thought back through the episode, and went Duh! Because there were tons of clues about T'Pol.
I'm about halfway through season 3. Much better than the cut-and-dry season 2. But I think season 1 is still my favorite so far.
