Found this song parody on amiright.com:
Give him a blow!
Give him a hole!
Poor Mr. Met. It's not his fault the team is a mess...
I like Mr. Met too, but I think that's being awfully forward with him.
I did wonder about that line.

A 94-pitch complete-game shutout...his second of the month! Dude's nasty when he's dialed in.The Lord Josh Beckett giveth today...
Well, that Home Run derby kinda sucked. Pretty boring.
I've been reading the arguments on both sides between who is the better pitcher in the NL this season and I don't get the Haren side.
Granted, he has a better WHIP and BAA (last time I looked) but what Haren gains in those stats he loses in stuff like Wins and Strikeouts. I'd say these pitchers are pretty even and if Haren didn't pitch for Arizona, than he would have more wins.
Still, I do think Lincecum deserved the start, based on what he's doing this year after winning the Cy Young last year.
Starbreaker, the Braves? Based on what? The Phillies just won nine out of ten games. The Braves are 6 games back and are 5-5 in the last 10. And they're two games below .500.
Check out how ESPN's player's card for Albert Pujols recommends you pronounce his name:

I have a juvenile sense of humor, so just looking at it makes me laugh. I can't help it if stuff that makes an 11-year old laugh makes me laugh, but that is funny to me.
Sigh... the NL can't catch a break.
I'm making bold predictions for the end of the season:
♣ - Division Winner
¤ - Wild Card
<snip>
AL Central:
Minnesota Twins ♣
Chicago White Sox
Detroit Tigers
Kansas City Royals
Cleveland Indians
