TNG "Parallels" - a favorite from season 7.

Mike from Red Letter Media said he hates it because it makes TNG irrelevant. If there are so many parallel universes, then this one has no meaning. Our crew has no meaning. I find his reasoning flawed and scary as in a DC Universe villain used the same reasoning to attempt to destroy all parallel universes as it would be the only action he could perform that could possibly hold any meaning at all.

Hmm...I think I understand. If every choice you have can be made somewhere, then how much does your choice matter? I have to say I've never thought of it like that. I have a soft spot for alternate reality stories because I find exploring the path you could have taken but didn't fascinating, not meaningless.

Solipsism can be therapeutic if "Many Worlds" is true. Your choice matters to you. Your universe matters to itself. It matters a GREAT deal to our Worf's Enterprise that our Riker defeated the Borg and saved our Picard. Meaning may have no value universally across all realities, but it does not need to in order to have value to us.

I tried to go through TAS once but I could not handle the dated production. I wonder if it is worth it to give it another try, hmm.
