I'm more convinced than ever now that some people's quest to find things wrong with the show is distracting them from actually really watching it.

Or the show simply doesn't work for some folks. Everyone says Breaking Bad is amazing, I watched a few episodes and didn't care for it. I'm sure there are shows I like that you wouldn't care for, even if I think they are amazing.

I really watched Discovery, desperately wanted to like it, it just doesn't work for me.
