Spoilers How do you want Picard season 3 to end?

I suspect Picard dies in the finale, saving the day. But it will end with a new hope for a new generation. So, I'm imagining a bittersweet ending. Picture the end of TWOK, but it's Picard who dies and the Titan crew is the new hope, reflecting life moving forward.

Picard’s a robot. He dies but leaves his immortal RAM in Lore. Hilarity ensues in the next show (“Search for Spickard”)

Picard dies, naturally, for good and peacefully this time, with his crew at his side having made a difference and saving his son. He closes his eyes and wakes up to find himself a younger man... a Captain again on the Enterprise D bridge. Basically a version of the ending of Titanic (hey I liked that part!)

The Titan is trashed so her crew transfers to a new Constitution-III class ship... the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-G. Seven of Nine becomes Captain of it and before she heads off on her mission of exploration, she is greeted in her ready room by Admiral Janeway, telling her how proud she is of her.

RIker and Troi reconcile. He is promoted to Admiral and given oversight of Starfleet Exploration.

Worf and Raffi are put in charge of a task force to find out where else the Changelings have infiltrated the Alpha Quadrant.

Lore becomes a hybrid of Lore-Data, and the most human first generation Soong-type android. He's basically a new person. He and Geordi reconcile (presuming Geordi has blamed himself for Data's death for decades and advocated the synth ban like some have speculated) and begin /resume a friendship

Shaw is banged up, but a proven hero once again and given a new command.

Jack Crusher returns to Chateau Picard with his mother and finds Picard's belongings, his inheritance (passed to Jack). Series ends with Jack holding his combadge. It's ambiguous, hinting he may be rethinking joining Starfleet (without a clear commitment either way... better story that way).

Federation President: And in recognition of saving the galaxy on Frontier Day from those awful changelings, all charges against Admrial Picard, Captain RIker, and Commander Seven in relation to perjury and theft in regards to the USS Titan are dro---

Shaw: Aw, f--- it! You've GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!! (angrily walks out of the Federation Council chamber)

(roll credits)

Tasha walks in. Picard is shocked but Riker, Beverly, Deanna, Geordi and Worf acts like everything's normal.

Raffi leans close to him. "I forgot to mention when we got back from 2024. In this new timeline, the D never went to Vagra II"....

I want to see Jurati as the borg queen come back, and maybe finding out that the evolved Changelings were part of an experiment that Rios did. If they kept the returning character under wraps from this last episode, I would like to see the return of some of the other characters to bring the series full circle. Heck, maybe even bring Soji back to help take out Lore or something.

Shaw and Seven relaxing after everybody just beemed off the Titan.

Shaw: "Thank goodness that is all over Commander Seven, now we can go back to normal, sipping brandy and reading poetry and not have any of your friends overtake my ship again to save the galaxy!"

*mysterious voice behind them* : "Don't speak too soon"

<Shaw and Seven look around>

Admiral Janeway emerges from the shadows.

Janeway: We need the Titan to take us on a super secret galaxy saving mission... back to the Delta Quadrant!

*Taps Communicator* "Ensign Kim, prepare to beem everybody over".

Shaw: Oh Fuck Me...

*Fades to black*

Title card appears on screen:

Coming in 2024:
Star Trek: Janeway

Why would Rios experiment on Changelings?

Are you thinking of someone else? Rios was just a pilot. That's why he had a holographic engineer, medic, among others.

I have a bad feeling about Worf making it out alive. There's a history in Trek of "killing" a character, then saying "jk, he's not dead," then killing them for good right at the end just when you think they're safe. Reference Spock at the beginning and end of ST:II.

And I'm just going to say it: Laris is too good for (this version of) Picard.

I think PS3 should end with Picard's son picking up where his father left off and a new android, Data, but with a different male face, Rikers children and other remnants of the crew of the NCC-1701-D, accompanying Picard's son on new adventures starting with the episode, 'Are There Still Tomorrows, For Our Yesterdays?'
