TNG crew all aboard the renovated Galaxy-class D, dropping the surprise guest DS9 character back at the station... before heading on through the wormhole to the Gamma Quadrant, for potential future plot reasons.

honestly, I think it would be funny if they revealed Sisko has been back for 10-15 years or so.
The closer we come, the more I think back to Picard's words in Season 1. I don't want the game to end.
If they're hell bent on turning Jack into a Borg king and squeezing the Borg for all they're worth for the gazillionth time, might as well go out with a bang. Jack activates the nanoprobes and turns the entire fleet at Frontier Day into Borg. Only Picard in his synth body and the TNG crew are unaffected. They're facing a whole army of Borg bombarding space, crawling from the ground, flying in the air and just everywhere. Picard says "Engage!" and the TNG crew go all out phasers firing against hopeless odds, and the credits roll.
