Spoilers How do you want Picard season 3 to end?

TNG cast along with Shaw, Seven and the other Titan officers and Raffi assembled on the Titan bridge providing something pseudo philosophical about endings, moving on, new horizons, that sort of sentimental stuff you expect from a final scene. Then, on the viewscreen, a wormhole opens, and robo-tentacles emerge from it, and begin waving at the Titan. Picard gets a smile on his face, waves at the viewscreen (and by extension the robo-tentacles) and says "au revoir, mon amis." Fade to black.

Daimon Bok shows up out of nowhere, vaporizes Jack, and reveals he's the mastermind behind Vadic and the Changelings all to get revenge for the loss of his own son, and that Jack's entire existence owes itself to Bok, having bribed Dr. Selar to forcibly mindmeld Beverly into sleeping with Picard and giving birth to Jack to begin with.

I hope they don't feel the need to kill a legacy character. But the way all the TWOK stuff is panning out, it seems kind of inevitable. I hope in that case that it's Lore who ends up wearing the cricket mitts.

It most likely would be Picard getting killed (Sir Patrick isn't getting younger and Picard's death has been foretold by fans since pretty much when the show was announced) or Riker, sacrificing himself to make amends with Troi and Kestra (Jonathan Frakes as a seasoned Trek director will always have a job with Trek and doesn't need the Riker character alive for that, plus he's said many times he now feels more comfortable directing than acting)

I suspect Picard dies in the finale, saving the day. But it will end with a new hope for a new generation. So, I'm imagining a bittersweet ending. Picture the end of TWOK, but it's Picard who dies and the Titan crew is the new hope, reflecting life moving forward.

I only saw Blakes' 7 about 4 or 5 years ago. Had no clue that ending was coming. I will never forget it. My sister and I were slack jawed, staring at the TV amazed they had the balls to end a show like that. And that was made in 1981!

Yeah, I just finished Blake's 7 earlier this year, myself. That was... wild.
So cool that Blake's 7 is still being watched! I watched it back in the 80s. It seemed so fresh and different, predicting some of the later darker themed shows the followed. Loved the characters. The ending is such a shock too. Glad you enjoyed it!

Shaw: Are you out of your court martialed mind? No human can tolerate the radiation that's in there!

Picard: But as you already know Captain, I'm synthetic, not human.

Shaw: You're not going in there!

Picard: Perhaps you're right. What is Ensign La Forge's condition?

Shaw: Well, I don't think that she...

(Picard administers a Vulcan nerve pinch on Shaw)

Picard: I'm sorry, Captain. I have no time to discuss this with a dips--- from Chicago.

(enters starship radioactive room that exists only for officers to sacrifice themselves)

Jack: Dad! Noooo! Get out of there!

Patrick said he was up to doing more Trek after Season 3, so I doubt he dies. Unless he means a prequel or something.

Could very well be misdirection so it's a surprise. I just feel like he doesn't survive the season. Passing the baton to a newer generation. But we'll see.

I thought I recall reading that season 3 was left open ended for Picard. Doubt they’ll kill him off. Again.

I know we’re only three episodes in but it doesn’t hurt to speculate but what do you think the final scene of the season should be? Should it be something like the undiscovered country with the “sign off” or should it be something like all good things with a poker game? Or something different?

anyway let me know your thoughts.

I would like Season 3 to end with good writing, which is more than I can say for the Seasons 1 and 2 finales. I would also like Picard 2.0 to die.
