Have you ever given up on a Trek series? If so, what was the last straw for you?

Honestly, it isn't "good", but it isn't as bad as I thought it would be based on the advertising and interviews. Much like a lot of the Kurtzman era, it has some interesting concepts, but fumbles the execution.

I have three weeks of actual me time and focusing on me and mental health coming up. I might just binge all of season 1.

After doing a fairly intensive systematic watch of ENT, TOS, TAS, the TOS movies, TNG, and DS9, I started on Voyager, but stopped I think after “Resolutions” very near the end of season 2. No straw that broke the camel’s back, but I wasn’t enthralled and perhaps had overdosed on Star Trek at that point. A friend of mine said Voyager got better once Seven of Nine arrived - maybe someday I’ll give it another try.
I did a similar thing only starting with The Cage and working my way through VOY.
Yes by the time I got to VOY i was feeling Star Trek Burnout. I finished it and was glad I did. There was some good episodes and Ill take VOY any day over streaming Trek.

VOY - I've tried to get into it four different times, at three different points in the show. People whose taste I trust keep telling me it's great. But I just keep bouncing off.

ENT - Watched the pilot when it aired, noped out.

DISC: Dropped it after S4; got tired of the inconsistent quality.

I won't see the rest of SNW or any of Academy, but that's more to do with deciding the P+ sub wasn't worth the money than the quality of the shows.
