Fuller House teaser trailer

Because no one liked Vicky so the writers were smart and ignored it.
Was she really unpopular? I always thought she was written out because the writers didn't want to add another regular. Steve was written out around the same time, wasn't he? The cast was really bloated towards the end, season 7 had had 11 characters in the main cast, that's a lot, although two of them were Nicky and Alex and all they did was hug Comet and say "oogle boogie blargh" or some unintelligible mess, they didn't count.:rommie:
Anyway, I assumed both Vicky and Steve left to make room for more Michelle, she was front amd cemter during season 8, love interests/partners for Danny and DJ interferred with that.
Lori Loughlin was lucky enough to join the show before Michelle could talk.

Wasn't the whole thing developed around John Stamos to begin with? Bringing on a love interest/wife/family for him early on somewhat curbed the less family-friendly rock & roll womanzer aspects of one of their leads.

I think she has grown unpopular with the fans of the show since it ended and the writers knew that. Plus Danny's new wife is not white if I remember correctly which is always a place too. We wouldn't want random 'racist' comments going around.

The show was going to switch channels and DJ and Jessy were not going to continue as full time. DJ would have gone to college and Jessy was going to go on tour or something like that. The show ended instead because the creators figured it would have been weird with everyone leaving.

I think they had made the right decision. Shows don't always work when they switch gears, and by then it had already gone on long enough to be able to finish naturally. Better to end on a good note than go on indefinitely and peter out.

I can't say I've come across the opinion that Vicky is unpopular among fans. At the worst I think some people just weren't interested and didn't pay much attention to her. I'm not certain why she was written out of the show but she also left Blossom at the same time and "retired" from acting, so maybe it was mostly her own choice.

I don't think fans hate Vicky, I think they just feel she was useless and boring, so the writers probably didn't care to try to get her back for the new show.

They both get amnesia, and pick up at their last restore point when they were still together?

Well, I guess some do but Vicky seemed pretty content with leaving Danny for a job. I doubt if she called him up one day and said she had made a mistake, he'd take her back. Maybe he would. I don't know.

Another teaser, now with the cast:

Perhaps a bit underwhelming, but it was more interesting than that other teaser we got a week or so ago.

The house looks bigger, but that may just be the effect of HD cameras and a wider field of view.

I think it's the cameras, however the house has been renovated because the kitchen has a new hall / room behind it.

And how long until the teenagers of DJ and Kimmy start to date? I'm thinking by the end of the first season.

The first episode has everybody back and Jesse will be in one other episode. I'm only watching to see him, Danny, Joey, Becky, and Kimmy. I don't care about the rest.

When I first heard about the show, I was excited. Then I found out it was centered on the most boring Tanner girl and and her equally boring sister.

I never watched Full House for the kids (except for Kimmy and Michelle) the adults were far more interesting.
