Their goal is subscriptions.
Landman and Tulsa King driving those much more.
So the question remains and I don't find it laughable at all.
What I find laughable is why SFA can't get good numbers and nobody has any answer.
But, then, I gather you work for Paramount given the strong interest in numbers.
I have to be a chef to take an interest in food?
I have to be a race car driver to take an interest in F1?
I have to be an astronaut to take interest in space science?
I have to work for Paramount to want a show to succeed which it clearly isn't?

What logic is this?

We lack sufficient information. One would need to know all the information regarding how people are engaging with ACADEMY. My only answer is that those who were planning on watching it were already subscribed.

But, again, all we can do is blindly speculate because we don't have all the engagement information. You can laugh all you want but until we work for Paramount we simply will not know.

I haven't seen Landman, but Tulsa King is awesome so that makes a lot of sense.

I have a real simple answer: the show isn't that good. 🤷‍♂️

The kind of logic one uses when they want to ignore any evidence that their beloved show isn't as beloved as they would like.

Or a low 43 percent audience rating on rotten tomatoes, or a 4.2 out of 10 on IMDB...

Take your pick
Both easily manipulated as there's no regulation. As the show has been subjected to review bombing it is very difficult to decipher what the genuine opinions of most people watching the show is.

If only there was a place that people could vote on a numberical scale to express their opinions. A site maybe that caters to fans of the franchise so for the most part it is people actually watching it and giving their real opinons...know anywhere like that?

Whatever you want to tell yourself to avoid the fact the show isnt liked from the majority of people who have watched it.

SNW has a 70 percent audience rating in RT and an 8.2/10 on IMDB. If a show is deemed good, the numbers will show it. If the show is average or worse, the same rule applies.

If you believe anonymous burner accounts and bots over people you can actually communicate with then sure. Here you can talk with people who are watching it and get a variety of opinions.

So you don't believe review bombing is a thing and all numbers on websites must be true because no one would dare lie on the internet? Sometimes something good will indeed have good numbers but prerelease hate campaigns and especially rightwing ones can skew these numbers.

Perhaps the positivity opinions here are the minority, I don't know and there's no reliable way for anyone to know because some people act in bad faith and ruin it for everyone.

Numbers can show a lot of things. Numbers can be manipulated. You can make up a statistic to prove anything. Especially in a public poll with no regulation or oversight. Nobody, and I mean nobody, with a grasp on reality is looking at those rotten tomatoes scores and think that they represent anything even remotely resembling an accurate representation of the show.
