There is. It's referenced in one of the background monitor images in ep 3 or 4
An Orb and an instructor that appears to be of Cardassian and Bajoran descent
Edit: Wait, is that Tawny as the instructor?
It certainly looks like an Orb, but it feels like that might be a holographic bait and switch unless they're taking a trip to Bajor. An Orb and an instructor that appears to be of Cardassian and Bajoran descent
Ake was living on Bajor when we first meet her, so maybe she has an in with a Vedek who can grant access to the orbs.It certainly looks like an Orb, but it feels like that might be a holographic bait and switch unless they're taking a trip to Bajor.
We saw full Cardassians in Discovery and the make up was virtually identical to the original. Tawny's character looks like she is not just a cardassian/bajoran hybrid. She kinda looks a little bit like a Vaskan as well https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/VaskanTawny in the redesinged Cardassian makeup looks a little odd (isn’t the spoon part a little high on the forehead?), but even this short trailer makes it seem like she will be a fun character. Am I imagining things or does she have Bajoran nose ridges? This show sure loves its alien hybrids.
Seems like all Ake/Kelrec shippers out there might get their due this episode. Surely there must be more than just me, right? Right?!![]()

It probably wasn't an orb that was used much anyway given the dangers of changing the past.Makes me wonder how the Federation handled the Orb of Time issue given it would be illegal for the Bajoran's to possess under Federation law.
The two times it was used, it didn't really change the past.It probably wasn't an orb that was used much anyway given the dangers of changing the past.
True but the risk exists considering the Prophets don't have a concept of linear time or paradoxes given they just plopped the old emissary back into the past and altered history without a care. The two times it was used, it didn't really change the past.
Both incidents were paradoxes.
They'd have to keep it extra guarded now.It probably wasn't an orb that was used much anyway given the dangers of changing the past.
They've probably just kept it safe and not really allowed the general public access to it. Prophet shenanigans not withstanding.
They probably had to keep it extra guarded during the temporal war, not like the Prophets would notice anything weird happening anyway since they don't view time as anything meaningful.
Maybe.
