Maybe a few Flotter stories as well, of course designed to teach little ones sciences. If 9-year-olds are expected to take calculus in the Trek-verse, I expect preschoolers are taught the water cycle and forest regrowth.

The thought of which seems to amuse O'brien (or he was just laughing about Bashir's bizarre rationalisation).
