Exclusive Clip

In the real world warheads on nuclear missiles can sometimes be yield-adjusted according to the launch officer's wishes, the W87 warhead on the current incarnation of the Minuteman III being a key example with a base yield of 300 kilotons of explosive power, but can be adjusted before launch to a maximum explosive yield of 475 kilotons.

I'd love to think this is possible but I can't recall of TOS showed this.

As a 13 nearly 14-year veteran of Star Trek Online I would like to say that I care about this time period and I consider it canon over Picard season 3 and Prodigy.

I'm aware it doesn't work like that and I don't make the rules but we've got to do what makes us happy.
I thought entertainment franchise fans meant being miserable all the time...

Completely unrelated but kinda related....
Am I the only surprised that Bernd Schneider hasn't already done two full articles on this clip, one where he lists everything wrong with this show and the second a fully essay on how this new starship doesn't make sense?
I seriously check his every day because I'm curious about his thoughts, but nothing yet.
