Episdoes you liked for a strange reason

I'm not a big fan of TOS sorry guys. :( I liked DS9 Ferengi episodes. However, one of my favorite war episode was "Call to Arms": so inspiring.

I want to know, is there a Trek episode that you absolutely love because of one, strange, weird reason?
I thought the Planet Africa episode in TNG's first season (forget the name) was hillariously politically incorrect. To borrow my uncle's comments, "An entire planet populated by black people, and the first thing they do when they meet the Federation is kidnap a blonde white woman!"
I don't remember... was there a giant ape in this episode?
Other than Lutan's wife? Nope.

Oh man, I loved VOY: "Message in a Bottle" for the dialog between Dick and Picardo. Although I normally hate Andy Dick, I thought he was pretty hilarious in that episode.

Well, "loved" is too strong a word ... but I have a special place in my heart for ... "Threshold".

Tom pulling his own tongue out has to be one of the most disturbing things ever seen on Star Trek.

One I forgot was "Ship in a Bottle" (VOY), because Andy Dick is in it. NewsRadio is one of my favorite shows of all time.

I don't know how "strange" a reason I have for mine, other than these are the episodes I liked that don't fit my usual criteria for "good episode."

DS9: The Visitor
DS9: Little Green Men
DS9: One Little Ship
TNG: The Royale
VOY: Twisted
VOY: Resolutions
VOY: 11:59
VOY: Workforce

Okay, I'll admit it. As much as I like them as episodes on their own, the main reason I'll rewatch TOS is to look at the female crewmembers' legs.

Sub Rosa. It's one of my favourites. I love that an older woman is depicted as a sexual being. I think Gates looks great. I like the Picard-Crusher tension. I like the moment when Picard walks in on her while she's notifying the mod. I love Picard's deadpan delivery of "I'll get my jacket" when faced with a bridge looking like the North Yorkshire moors. It's all good stuff! :D

Bev...with candle....

you mean the stuff most people don't necessarily put in their top ten? okay, I've got plenty:

Obsession (I like Kirk like that, all pissy and angsty)
Turnabout Intruder (camp to an extreme! me likey)
Spock's Brain (camp again. the best of trek ;))
The Game (because of Troi's ice cream scene and how demented they all looked)
Rascals (I like Picard like that, all pissy and uncomfortable)
Attached (for obvious reasons ;))
Progress (I like that side of Kira, all soft and gooey)
Civil Defense ('cos of all the scrumplicious Dukat/Garak repartee and the obvious way Dukat kept hitting on Kira to Garak's obvious disgust )
Defiant (I love Tom Riker... so sue me)
Explorers (romantic stuff... sailing -- one of my favorite things to do -- and that too in space!)
Little Green Men (fun, just plain frickin' fun!)
Ties of Blood and Water (the kanar scene -- Dukat's face when Weyoun gulps it down :guffaw:, and also when Kira throws the water in Dukat's face -- 'twas a pretty wet episode :p)
The Magnificent Ferengi and any and all Ferengi eps in DS9
One Little Ship (it reminded me of Gulliver's Travels -- one of my favorite stories ever)
A Night in Sickbay (it's funny and I adore the handholding at the dream funeral and the hot hot hot kiss... so sue me! :p)
Carpenter Street (I dunno, I just really get off every time I see Archer ordering burgers at the Mickey D's )

The episode (Strange Bedfellows??) toward the end of DS9 where Worf breaks Weyoun's neck, this may make me sound like a psycho, but i find it absolutely hillarious, I've even been known to watch it back in slow motion, Combs expression has me in stitches. Who hasn't felt like doing that to our boss from time to time?

Yeah, I loved that episode too. And then the reaction afterwards when a new Weyoun steps into Damar's office:
'Well, hello!'
:)
