That's not what I said, there have always been women in Starfleet, and I have absolutely no problem with that.
Yeah you did. Right here.
way, way over representation of women in the military

This post says otherwiseThat's not what I said, there have always been women in Starfleet, and I have absolutely no problem with that.
I recently watched the episode where Georgio went went through the Guardian of Forever, back to the mirror universe (one of the most over used things in Star Trek). As I watched it, I realized that there were hardly any men in it. They just over due it to the point that you can't ignore it. Where are all the men, I was wondering? Why are they doing this?
Doesn't matter.Starfleet. isn’t. A. modern. Military.
Looks like you don't know what that word means then.Yeah you did. Right here.
It 100% matters. They don’t have follow modern trends.Doesn't matter.
Seven of Nine was called a Mary Sue back when Voyager was still on.
Actually, it doesn't. I've seen ST episodes with women dominant planets, but this wasn't that. What's the explanation for it?This post says otherwise

We'll just have to agree to disagree on that.It 100% matters. They don’t have follow modern trends.
Why do I care...oh wait, I don't.They just over due it to the point that you can't ignore it. Where are all the men, I was wondering? Why are they doing this?
Why would a future military follow the same trends as a modern one? We'll just have to agree to disagree on that.
It could have been better.Why do I care...oh wait, I don't.
That was one of the best episodes of Discovery.
So could most of Star Trek...I don't hold that against it.It could have been better.
I could tell you what it means, then you'd point at the post where you claimed not to have a problem with women in Starfleet, then you'd bring out the tired old "I'm not sexist but" argument. I have better things to do with my life than get bogged down with this bad-faith horseshit.Looks like you don't know what that word means then.
A fitting epithet for Discovery... "It could have been better."So could most of Star Trek...I don't hold that against it.
Or... "I enjoyed it."A fitting epithet for Discovery... "It could have been better."
So is the Marines, and they are under 10%. And really, how many go into combat?
Still not sure what happened. Women seem to be women, and men seem to be men. Yet, they seem to want women to do the things men mostly do, and are more suited for. Do women of the future have denser muscular structure than men, while still being smaller in size? Where are all the men? Are they doing the jobs that women usually do? Who is having all the babies? Test tubes maybe?Technology (drones, cruise missiles, etc.) does the work that battalions of soldiers would've done in earlier times.
Technology and Special Forces (SEALs, Rangers, etc.).
So? It was a perfectly decent Star Trek show. Things don't have to be the greatest ever in order to be worthwhile.A fitting epithet for Discovery... "It could have been better."
