That kind of story is a very long-term, unglamorous political story.
Doesn’t that describe DS9?

Not really, because the political machinations of the powers is left largely off screen, save for the occasional views from the heroes or viewpoint antagonists. DS9 had a longer run time, in terms of episode count and opportunities to mix in the politics with the action and adventure. And the crew was never far away from the adventure.Doesn’t that describe DS9?
What people? And the people have spoken!
I've seen enough of PIC Season 3 now to know that it's the ENT Season 4 of Kurtzman Era.
What I mean is, it's tying up and touching upon as many things as it can within a short amount of time.
Nope, it doesn't.And it proves that DSC and SNW are alternate realities
And it proves that DSC and SNW are alternate realities by showing a 'proper' constitution class starship.
Ummm…no.It's the best season. It has been brilliant. And it proves that DSC and SNW are alternate realities by showing a 'proper' constitution class starship.
It doesn't mean anything of the sort. It just means that the constitution class gets a sexy retrofit at some point. Discovery using footage from Unification during season 3 and referencing Voyager and Janeway and the Nacene etc cements the fact that it is part of the prime timeline as wellIt's the best season. Star Trek has never been consistent on the size of anything. There are countless arguments about the windows for crying out loud. That’s pretty hard to imagine. The insanely huge quarters etc on pikes ship don’t add up to what we see in TOS. The Discoprise is significantly larger.
