Imagine, this might in the long-run lead to Star Charts-A, the way the Okudas got to update the Encyclopedia.
Isn't that sort of what Stellar Cartography was? Maybe I'm wrong, since I had Star Charts but not Stellar Cartography...

That shuttle was designed by John Eaves. I'm guessing Mandel just did the paint job. That shows that he understands the concept of period-specific designs, more so than, say, John Eaves does.
Please don't embed or link images from Wikia/Fandom sites, they won't show up properly for other people. We already have an Enterprise F, Odyssey class:
Personally, I would love to see the Odyssey class canonized on screen.

To me that shows a respect for the source material and knowledge of the specific time period those ships are supposed to hail from.
Except that's the exception for Eaves, not the norm.

My only issue with the "Odyssey Class" is that giant gap in between the two necks. My apologies. The pic showed up ok when I looked at my post on trekbbs. I did not know that it would be blocked.
This is the pic of the Enterprise F that I tried to share.

This is basically what the generic ships in the PIC finale armada looked like.My apologies. The pic showed up ok when I looked at my post on trekbbs. I did not know that it would be blocked.

I'm pretty much a life long Trekkie (since the late 70s), and I've never even played STO.I really, really hope that if we see the Enterprise-F in PIC, that it will be a new design and not something that was made for a video game ten years ago. I would like to have faith that the show’s producers don’t feel beholden to Star Trek Online.
I would have liked to have seen the primary hull keep that ring during an emergency boost separation—warp staging, we will call itMy apologies.

The Luna class Titan was considered soft canon until Lower Decks made it fully official. I know how much you hate the Odyssey class, but I wouldn’t put it past them to finally canonize it in the same way in Picard.I really, really hope that if we see the Enterprise-F in PIC, that it will be a new design and not something that was made for a video game ten years ago. I think it's the 40th anniversary of the ORIGINAL Star Trek maps. Which he also worked on.The 20th anniversary of Star Charts' original publication is coming up.
I don't mind seeing the Luna and Vesta and Odyssey classes getting TV screen time alongside the established stuff. Actually, the idea pleases me...but I digress. From what I understand, the producer of LDS used the Pocket Books Titan design as a tribute to Sean Torangeau. I don’t see the producers of PIC making such a tribute for the STO Enterprise-F, especially since what the original designer came up with was quite different than the finished product.
