Spoilers DC's Legends of Tomorrow - Season 2

You mean, in America you don't have Christmas crackers containing paper hats, party favours & crap/corny jokes?

Nope. I never saw them until the 2013 Doctor Who Christmas special. We have trees, presents, stockings, wreaths, eggnog, decades-old TV specials and movies, but not that.

Can I just say that I was on the side of the red coats in this episode and (especially given what's happened to America since November) was cheering when Rip started handing out M-16s. I'm also British of course .

I realized on my rewatch that the sequence of events made no sense. First, we saw Rip killing George Washington on Christmas Day, 1776. Then we saw him handing out rifles to the Redcoats and Thawne telling him to stop the Legends when they arrived. Then we saw the Legends arrive on Christmas Eve, before Washington was killed, and saving him from an attack by Redcoats with modern guns, led by a Rip who was already prepared for their arrival? Whaaaaa??? So did Rip have second thoughts, go back a day earlier in time, and give the day-earlier Redcoats guns again?

No, Rip killed Washington as bait, then went back to before he did it and waited as a trap. (Wibly.) Which Sara plainly recognized.

I hope she turns out to have had that much foresight with Rip and Gideon. (That would be a welcome twist.)

Yes, that's the intent, obviously, but it's not how it played out onscreen. As I said, the part that screws it up is the scene that clearly shows Rip handing out the guns and getting his instructions from Thawne the morning after Washington was killed. Rip explicitly said something like "General Washington is dead, but the rebellion continues." That scene should've been set before Washington's death, as you say, but it was actually set after, and that's why the sequence doesn't make sense.

I thought the Camelot episode was one of the best to date in the entire show and you know what, in the Arrow-verse to date. JSA appearances, Camelot mythology, kick ass battle and even a frickin medieval lightsaber (that mid-air saber swing at the horse was AMAZING btw). I wished we could of gotten a little fight between Stargirl & Vixen but I guess they already were pushing the budget in this episode. One thing that did bug me, NO WAY even with his saber of light ;) could Ray beat Damien Darhk one of the leading members of the League of Assassins in a duel.

Still, an awesome episode. + Does Sara just turn everyone gay

Do you think the writers are bold enough to cause major controversy and show the origins of the Spear of Destiny? Maybe one of the Legends has to take the place of Jesus and fake his death and resurrection. Having learned the historical Jesus had already died...

Nah.. They would never do that! ;)

The REALLY controversial thing would be to find out it happened as told.

They should call that episode "Behold The Man".

Every time traveller, it is their job to capture the seed of Jesus, if the opportunity presents.

Timepoon.

You know, if it turns out that maybe Christianity isn't bull####, controlling God's grandchild who is probably also God, is a powerful weapon literally and figuratively.

JC died when he was 33.

They dropped spawn young back then... And she would have to be really young to not have been sold like cattle yet to some old man looking for a bride to make him sons...

Did God inseminate a premenstrual child?

Or did God take the time to begin her menstruation cycle seconds before knocking her up?

Or did he start up her cycle, wait a month or more, and then (How he made that baby, who was himself, it's a lot like Luke being put inside the tonton on Hoth) put his seed inside her?

Or did God start her cycle, speed up local time around her reproductive factory, till she was ovulating and capable of carrying God to term, and then put his seed in her?

You do realize you're going to a special circle of hell, just for you, right?
