They did that with The Flash both last season and this season, although they might've actually undid the time jump between the conclusion of Season 2 and the start of Season 3 by sending Barry back to the moments following Zoom's defeat in "Paradox", meaning that both Arrow and Legends would actually be AHEAD of Flash, chronologically, by 6 months, and that the scenes of Felicity interacting with Barry in "Paradox" happened BEFORE the events of both Legacy and The Recruits.
^On the other hand, the finales of the two shows weren't necessarily simultaneous. I think they were out of sync for much of late last season, since we saw Barry with powers at Laurel's funeral on Arrow during the period that Barry was powerless on his own show.
I think the intention was always that these shows happen (roughly) simultaneously.
The Laurel's funeral discrepancy was due to poor planing at the start of last season when that particular sequence was filmed and later reused, not an intentional clue. That sequence didn't fit much of what was happening on the show it was on at the time, let alone the other show...

We met John Diggle Junior last year on Legends.
Conceivably (pun intended) we were supposed to think that "Connor" was child number 2, and not a Flashpointed substitute, or the Producers had no idea what they were doing, and just kinda lucked out.

Even though The Flash returned to the air later than Arrow this past spring by 18 days, the fact that Barry has his powers during Laurel's funeral would indicate that the events of the episode "Canary Cry" actually take place AFTER the events of "The Runaway Dinosaur" in-universe, so the "narrative order" for the final parts of Flash Season 2 and Arrow Season 4 would look like this:

Anyway, this is probably an exercise best left for other threads, so let's move on.
I don't know about anybody else, but I love the way that Nate Heywood and Mick play off of each other. Heywood is a better 'straight man' to Mick than anybody else on the show, including Ray, IMO, and has fantastic chemistry with everybody else as well. I also thought it was hilarious the places that the rest of the Legends had ended up in history, especially Sara. I totally buy that she'd "corrupt" the youth of Salem and not feel any remorse about it, and that she'd be seen as a witch as a result.
Somebody said that they thought that Arthur Darvill is gone from the series, but as far as I know, nothing's been said on that score, so my bet is that the team will find Rip sooner or later.
I also liked the dual ending with the reveal of Eobard being Dahrk's partner and the arrival of the JSA, and the costuming looks great (although I was expecting Obsidian to be the dude in the hood rather than Doctor Mid-Nite. I also think it's interesting that they changed Obsidian's ethnicity from Caucasian to African-American, because it makes 2 of the 5 members of the team non-white.

The black guy is Dr Mid-Nite. Played by Kwesi Ameyaw, a Canadian. Obsidian will be played by Dan Payne and Lance Hendricksen
I did a search for photos of the JSA characters, and what I found identified the guy in the hood as Doctor Mid-Nite and the black dude in the red banded jacket and cape as Obsidian, so somebody must've gotten their wires crossed if the black guy is actually Doctor Mid-Nite and Obsidian is in fact the guy in the hood, which is what I was expecting to be the case.
Anyone familiar with the costumes of Dr. Mid-Nite and Obsidian should be able to identify who is who.
I knew that Obsidian is hooded, which is why what I found had me confused.

Not sure if the comics version wears a hood in the usual sense. The black part is his face. The blue is a form fitting coif.
To be fair, outside of the crescent shaped clips the Mid-Nite costume really isn't the same as the comic costume, and Obsidian is only recognizable because of the color scheme, besides that its not even remotely similar to the actual comic character's appearance.
