Which should surprise no one who actually read the comic. I found it hilarious that people actually thought the costume change was permanent. It could have been permanent, but if you read the story you'd have seen the return of the original costume and character telegraphed from the very beginning.
But I thought DC had banned such "skimpy" costuming on its female heroes? Putting Wonder Woman back in the proper costume is actually one of the only things they seem to have gotten right in the reboot.
Have what make sense? What inherent to the Legion requires Superboy? I just don't get this.
Well, as explained by others Superboy was part and parcel of the inspiration of the LOSH. However the Legion dropped Superboy in about 1980 and continued on for more than 20 years perfectly fine without him. If they're farting about with continuity and eliminating the Superboy elements from the LOSH backstory, I doubt it'll make a difference. There are plenty of other superheroes they could springboard from, or that angle could simply be abandoned altogether.
