Pop Psychology is assholes trying to superglue a sound bite to the zeitgeist from a new book they just wrote to sell that book and make money. That's where these words come from. Doctors crediting and discrediting each other trying to sell more books than each other to pay for trophy wives and topshelf scotch.

What you are talking about however is political language which is a horse of an entirely different colour. Don't confuse political language with politically correct language. In this context, Political Language is when you label and define a group, while Politically Correct language is later when you rename a group after the official comfortable terms have transformed somehow into hatespeach, and distance is required.

Hair doesn't grow on Vampires (in some lore). It's fixed to what it was when they turned. It won't grow and it will immediately rectify if you hack it off, according to Interview with a Vampire.

The only reason to shave twice a week, is if you believe you're likely to be turned, and might have to live with a level of growth you don't want to be uncomfortable with for the rest of eternity. Hmmm? Does this part of the cruse also effect bad dye jobs or hair dye et all? Forever green would be troubling.

If you do believe vampires are out to get you, shave hard, shave fast and shave often, otherwise, if that's not why you're constantly looking over your shoulder after sunset, it's a silly fruitless habit you've been tricked into thinking is necessary.

I think vampires can change their hair, though I think it depends on which tv/movie universe you are following.

I'm fairly certain that I'm not being hunted down by a creature of the night but I will continue to perform this frequent ritual of hair removal. Not because it's necessary but rather I'd feel like a man if I didn't.

Although, there are some days when I wouldn't mind being a man but they don't last long.
