Carmilla the series

I think vampires can change their hair, though I think it depends on which tv/movie universe you are following.

Who besides a teenager would dye their hair green?

Oh wait. Katy Perry.

I'm fairly certain that I'm not being hunted down by a creature of the night but I will continue to perform this frequent ritual of hair removal. Not because it's necessary but rather I'd feel like a man if I didn't.

Although, there are some days when I wouldn't mind being a man but they don't last long.
They don't last long, the days, or are you confessing to being a serial killer?

Carmilla is most likely excused from a sex offender registry for one reason:

Laura is 19 years old. Legally she is an adult.

How old was Carmilla when she was turned? I can't remember if it was mentioned.

Elise, who as you know plays Laura, is 25.

Do you really think she's passing for 19 all that well?

Could she pass for 17?

Maybe 15?

"Physically" there is often very little difference to a woman (a few years) either side of the sexual consent line.

Mentally/emotionally, (hopefully) on the other hand the difference between a 15 year old and a 25 year old is night and day.

Oh!

"There's no such thing as Adults, just Children who owe money."

Stephen Fry.

To a vampire, 'age ain't nothing but a number'*-if the vampire wants her/him, they'll have her/him, and that's it.

*And to the person that sang the song that I posted a link to, IIRC, it didn't matter to her that she was involved with a older man; she got on with her life, and lived it, as short as it was.

So you are saying that the human gets no say in what they want?

I'm sorry but it did matter. The girl in question was underage and was taken advantage of. He was a disgusting pervert who preyed on her and manipulated her. If he had had any shred of decency then he wouldn't have let anything between them happen. He has done the same thing with other young girls.

I'm with you, Gov. I just felt the need to voice my opinions.

... And now, back to the show! Once the episode is up that is! Only two more left. It's sad:(

I'm glad you did voice that opinion, I quite agree with you.

It is picking up. I wish they'd had more Hollstein. The main mystery isn't bad, just poorly paced. I guess they'll give some hint about season three on Thursday's episode. I hope so, at any rate.

A third season will most likely happen. I've heard rumors that it will be the last though. I really wish they would show us what LaF and J.P. are up to, and yes, not enough Laura and Carmilla. I'll admit that I haven't been as "into" this season because it features a whole lot of Perry. She is my least favourite character. Also it has been kind of boring compared to the previous seasons.

I understand from interviews (I'd have to search since I've no links off hand) that the main writer, Jordan Hall, had about 100 episodes or so in mind. So, 3 seasons would fit that bill. This Zero season is supposed to be an advertisement for Kotex as much as anything else. It isn't meant to affect the plot of the main series so that's why it's in the past and the Carmilla/Laura scenes haven't addressed their relationship. All of that is supposed to be left for season 3.

It has been a very slow ride, though. I wish they'd kept more of the camp and worried less about the mystery. Let Laura and Carm do an MST3K reaction to the thing and had some fun with it all. Oh, well.

A little Google-fu later. Here is a nice little interview with Jordan Hall with her thoughts on seasons 1 and 2. http://starrymag.com/?p=7209

The cast might move onto other vervegirl projects, or the production team might use this as a launching pad to make movies or TV, and take the cast with them.

The cast is the production team?

I don't know what any plans might be after this wraps up. However, it has shown quite a deal of popularity, if only in its little niche audience. And, with supernatural stuff being popular these days, I hope the producers would look into getting the concept being produced somewhere with a budget for a full series.

It's up.

The "producers" have a sponsor, so there's money that wants to be given away that someone should try to get.

I was looking at the producers credits on IMDB, and one of the producers seemed to have been involved in Carmilla projects since the 1970s... (scroll down) ... Since the 1870s.

**Shit**

The other two in charge behind the camera are relative noobs who are not dead and buried.

Elise and Natasha are in a movie together as the leads.

Almost Adults.

Episode 12

What!? What about Thursday?

Almost Adults looks good! More Elise and Natasha!

I beat you to it, finally!

So just like that everything is fine and dandy in "Perry-Land?" That girl is a master of suppression!

Laura was a prophecy.

Did Kirsch lose the ears and tail?
