Carmilla the series

Carmilla is most likely excused from a sex offender registry for one reason:

Laura is 19 years old. Legally she is an adult.

How old was Carmilla when she was turned? I can't remember if it was mentioned.

Elise, who as you know plays Laura, is 25.

Do you really think she's passing for 19 all that well?

Could she pass for 17?

Maybe 15?

"Physically" there is often very little difference to a woman (a few years) either side of the sexual consent line.

Mentally/emotionally, (hopefully) on the other hand the difference between a 15 year old and a 25 year old is night and day.

Oh!

"There's no such thing as Adults, just Children who owe money."

Stephen Fry.

I think she can pass for 19. She's short. Short people can get away with it. If I wore the right costume I could probably get away with trick-or-treating well into my 30's.

Maturity isn't always defined by how old you are. I know 40 year olds who act like they are 15! It's sad.

How often really do we see Elise stand up?

I do recall once where the top of Laura's head was resting comfortably against Danny's underboobs.

I doubt she wants to be any taller or shorter than that.

Sometime how you talk JG, it almost seems like you work on the Carmilla set beside these people.

Elise is 5'2". Sharon is 6'2".

Damn. You figured out my day job:lol:

But really, what makes it seem like I work on the Carmilla set?

Canada is a small enough country, and 2 thirds of it is uninhabitable.

It'd be hard for you not to be on top of these people somehow.

The Royals is back.

Such magnificently cheesy irredeemable drenn.

You are incorrect. Answer: Eskimos.

Apparently all of Canada can fit into Florida.

It would be fun to work on Carmilla but sadly it is not a reality. Life sucks.

I'm still working on Deadbeat.

You must know you're not supposed to use that word anymore. ;)

There's a lot of good programming hiding just under the surface, and it's not like we're allowed to fish with dynamite anymore.

How many Being Humans do you know about?

Because there were almost 3.

I did not. We have a hockey team with that word in it so...

Two. The U.K. and U.S. Where is the third?

I'm finding that there is more decent programming on the Internet than on TV.

The British did a first pilot with a different cast and a different script, before they junked everything and started again, which is why I said "almost".

Take your moral queues from sports please.

I think what Sports don't want to tell you is that if they change their name it Effs up the illegal gambling, then the mob pays them a visit, and the Team Manager has little to no interest in having a conversation with a length of rubber hose.

Inuit.

Inuit (pronounced /ˈɪnuːɪt/ or /ˈɪnjuːɪt/; Inuktitut: ᐃᓄᐃᑦ, "the people") are a group of culturally similar indigenous peoples inhabiting the Arctic regions of Greenland, Canada, and Alaska. Inuit is a plural noun; the singular is Inuk.

(Seriously! I do not want to be the PC Police!)

The only reason that that Amy Schumer skit about how Rape shouldn't be part of the rules to Football, would be available here, and not where you are, is if the uploader doesn't know that New Zealand is a real place in the real world. :(

More supernatural content from Vervegirl...

Well, it does sound kind of whimsical. New Zealand. And everyone knows that whimsy only exists in our imaginations:)

I have heard of the word "Inuit." I just always thought the two were interchangeable.

I'll have to check it out once I'm finished following Pac and Sue around.

Old Zealand is a shit house shrouded in myth and mystery, but we tend not to talk about it much with outsiders.

I found the V Morgan is dead because I thought it was time to catch up on Ms Labeled.

There were 8 new episodes since I last checked in.

Your Jewish?

I have enough scars from various surgeries that I don't need permanent ink. Though I wouldn't want one anyways. Not my thing.

No?

Who said I was Jewish?

:D

;)

A pretty feeble car accident did award me two moderately large scars.

The tattoos on V are given a meaningful origin in the pilot webisode. Although, if the actress is also a writer/producer then she could have given her story to the character she's helping to invent, or the tattoos are henna and necessary to reflect the stage directions in their script.
