Corran Horn said they didn't recall it. I definitely remember Pierce saying it. Sitwell, I believe, did not, but it was said to him.
This was much better than the first one.
Does anyone else think this is the way they should be portraying Clark Kent/Superman? The straight-arrow in a world increasingly grey and troubled?
Except Captain America seemed to take a bullet wound to the chest, from a "sniper" and survived it, so ...This was much better than the first one.

The problem is that Superman literally has the power of a god to change things so we will then ask why not, Clark Kent gives us free will?. While even though they seemed to upgrade Captain America's capabilities since The First Avenger a sniper can take him out ass easily as he can take me out.

is a bit absurd and stupid for a film that wanted a realistic, gritty tone.
I really enjoyed Black Widow in this film, she had a much bigger part than I initially thought she would. It does kind of make me miss Hawkeye, but the writers came up with a good reason why he wasn't included, so that's good enough for me.
With Chris Evans interested in retiring soon and now that we have Bucky reintroduced and on the road to remembering who he is, I hope that means they're setting it up for him to take over as Captain America. This seems the most likely especially since they have Stan on a 9 picture contract.

Realistic and gritty tone? Are you kidding? That went out the window the moment they introduced Gods and Aliens into the Marvel Universe. This is a comic book universe and it will play by comic book rules. Quite frankly I'm tired of dark and gritty, and that's why I love what Marvel is doing right now, because they are making comic book movies that feel like comic book movies.
Fair enough. I enjoyed the climax though I know my friend didn't (he really didn't like the part where The Falcon jumps from the building and lands safely inside Fury's helicopter).

Aside from Black Widow's arrow necklace is there any mention of Hawkeye in the movie? I don't remember one.
