"Broken Bow" : Line-By-Line!

Archer: Lets Go.

Very impressive Catchphrase, since he almost never used it again in the series....

^ In the end, I don't think ENT needed them. Sure if something had grown organically out of the dialogue, because it keeps getting reused... that would've been fine. Scott probably said that when interviewed, expecting "Let's Go" to show up again... like "Oh boy" or something...

The show had some differences that set it apart. Refering to the ship as simply Enterprise, (hardly ever as the starship and always without the in front) in the way NASA call shuttles just Atlantis or Endeavor. More contemporary, grounded in reality speak between crew members. There's other stuff too, like Engineering teams seen welding corridors back together... which the Abramsverse practically stole and used on the first trailer and opening scenes aboard the Kelvin.

Trip: (looking down to his feet, below which are two low windows)

"Where is it? It was right here."

Archer: That's the upper support radius. Drop down right below it. Start a counterclockwise sweep.

Suliban Pod circles Helix

Archer: Al little more. A little more.

Pod approaches Docking port

Archer: Right there.

Hatch opens, Archer and Tucker exit Pod. Archer sees a Suliban and Stuns him with his Phase Pistol. Archer looks at Pistol.

Archer: Stun seems to work.

Back on the bridge, Sato winces at hearing the approaching noise over her earpiece.

Hoshi: "Grab on to something!"

Loud explosion and the ship rocks violently.

Reed: This is ridiculous! If we don't move the ship, the Captain won't have anything to look for when he gets back!

Archer and Tucker enter holding room. Klaang is seated in chair, restrained by wires and clamps.

Tucker: This is going to be easier than I thought.

Trip starts to release Klaang.

Tucker: It's okay, we're getting you off this thing.

Undoing the last metal cuff restraint...

...Trip is shoved over into the corner of the cell, for his trouble.

Archer: (aiming phase pistol at growling Klingon)

"I really don't want to have to carry you out of here.

You okay?"

Tucker nods.

"I think he gets the idea. Give him a hand."

He reluctantly and tentatively moves toward the Klingon. Grabbing his arm, which Klaang reacts to with suspicion, instead of lashing out. Trip escorts him out of the room, following Archer.

Archer, Tucker and Klaang walk through corridor.

Klaang: BLAH BLAH BLAH!

Translated in English: I'm contemplating going to the opera this evening. Can your ship get me to London in time? Also, these rude people took my tuxedo, could we stop by a tailors on the way?

All you humans have such weak foreheads! I hope it isn't contagious...

Archer: "Be Quiet!"

Klaang makes more roaring noises, as they come underfire and have to take cover.

Suliban tries to circle behind Archer and Tucker, Klaang gets Suliban in a head-lock, then knocks him out.

Tucker: Thanks.

Archer: "Get to the ship. I'll be right behind you."

He sets the magnetic unlocking device and takes cover around the nearest corner. A shimmering light is emitted, followed by the sound of bulkheads separating. The floor below Archer's feet begins to part. Up ahead, several cell ships slot perfectly into holes in the wall, before forcefields activate behind each one.

Outside we see thousands of pods break up and fall off the Suliban Helix.
