Archer: "Now Mister Reed."

A turret on the underside of the NX-01 whirrs around, before firing two grappling hooks. They both hit the passing Cell ship. Magnetised, it begins to be reeled in. A hatch hinges open allowing a Suliban occupant to jettison out into the gaseous atmosphere. The Enterprise starts to accend upwards toward a thicker cloud layer.

 

[LeadHead]

Reed: (with a big smile on his face) Their ship's in the launch bay.

 

[ChristopherPike]

The camera pans up from ground level, to eyeline. We're in the situation room, a section at the rear of the bridge which serves as a place to brief crewmembers. Archer is standing at the head of a central waist-high table, dominated by a computer display at the centre. To the left Mayweather and on the right, Trip.

Tucker: "Ask me another one."

 

[LeadHead]

Mayweather: All right. What's this?

 

[ChristopherPike]

Trip: "The pitch control."

 

[LeadHead]

Mayweather: No. This is the pitch control, this is the guidance system.

 

[ChristopherPike]

Trip: (committing to memory, hopefully )

"Pitch control...

Guidance system...

Got it."

 

[LeadHead]

Mayweather: (To Archer) The docking interface. How do you deploy it?

 

[ChristopherPike]

Archer: (is a quick study) "Release the inertial clamps here, here, and here then initialize the coaxial ports."

 

[LeadHead]

Mayweather: Good. Where's the Auxiliary Throttle?

 

[ChristopherPike]

Trip: "Hmmm.

It's not this one..."

 

[LeadHead]

Mayweather: With all due respect to Commander Tucker, I'm pretty sure I can fly this thing, Sir.

 

[ChristopherPike]

Archer: "I don't doubt it, but I need you here."

 

[LeadHead]

Tucker: There, that's it. Auxiliary Throttle.

 

[ChristopherPike]

Mayweather gives Trip an affirmitive look (with a little bit of disappointment in there).

We hear an approaching rumble then the ship shakes.

T'Pol: (at the railing, looking down from the Bridge)

"Captain, that charge contained a proximity sweep. If we remain here, they're going to locate us."

 

[LeadHead]

Archer: You're going to have to speed this up Travis.

 

[ChristopherPike]

Trip: "How complicated can it be?

Up, down, forward, reverse.

We'll figure it out."

 

[LeadHead]

(Suliban ships fire upwards toward Enterprise)

(Archer goes through items in cabinet in Ready Room with T'Pol)

Archer: We'll be back before you know it. Have Mayweather plot a course for Kronos.

 

[Wes-Cutting]

(No phase cannons yet, folks... 'Fraid they won't be installed 'til Tuesday.

Hey I wonder if the tractor beam was supposed to be installed on tuesday as well and instead they needed a quick fix so they put together the grappling hook thingy.
