I know. But the whole point of this thread was to make these one or two word boring, generic titles longer and more poetic. Which already proved that most of us can come up with far more playful titles than Trek's Beavis & Butthead.....oops, I mean Berman & Braga (How the hell did I make a mistake like that, lol?). Berman specifically said he wanted to make Star Trek as bland as possible, so it wouldn't distract from their bumpy-forehead aliens. What utter literary assholes that proves they were, a REAL writer doesn't need to sacrifice a story's mood & ambiance to make a particular character look interesting by contrast.

TNG's "Realm of Fear" - should have called "Afraid to Fly?" because it was obviously a metaphor for it.
TNG's "Symbiosis" - should have been called "Getting Fixed" because a casual observer might think it refers to the broken-down alien ships. But upon watching the episode a viewer would realize it really means "getting a drug fix."

I like that one, it's amusing. That was one of my TNG favorites, with history's greatest Scotsman engineer - I thought the original Enterprise holodeck scene with Picard and Scotty having a drink of "it's green" had a lovely chemistry. But it was so boringly titled "Relics" that any title would have been more interesting. Maybe a title along the lines of "Older Yet Wiser" - because Geordi (my second least favorite TNG character after over-didactic Wesley) looked like such a childish, fussy little bitch compared to the towering icon Mr. Scott in that episode. But I think your title makes an interesting pun.
If you mean TNG then I agree that seasons 1 and 7 were crammed with my least favorite, clumsiest episodes. Picard's Trek was at its intellectually ballsy, ambitious best roughly in the middle of its run. With gems like Sarek, The Survivors, Chain of Command, Tapestry, True-Q, Relics, The Drumhead, Rightful Heir, Who Watches the Watchers, etc., etc.
True. Season 1 was terrible and Season 7 was filled with duds. Not as bad as season 1 but it was getting there.
I think season 1 is more forgivable because it was the first season, and they needed to try things to see what would and would not work.
