The Most Disliked Episode of TNG, Season 6 - 2025 Edition...

"Rascals" I know, people hate it, I think it's fun.

I also love how openly its acknowledging - Whoopi is becoming less available, Michelle Forbes doesn't want to do it anymore, Keiko and O'Brien and going to DS9 - so let's take every character we're losing and shove them into one story where we get to have one last adventure with them.
~ I do, too! :adore::D "Rascals" was going to be my next save (it was nearly my first), so I'm glad it's gone.
You make a good point about "one last adventure" with the guest stars - I'd never thought of that.

I'll save "Realm of Fear" because I love a good transporter horror story (ENT: "Vanishing Point" is a favourite. TMP's example was truly terrifying!).

"Time's Arrow, Part II"
"The Quality of Life"
"Aquiel"
"Starship Mine"
"Lessons"
"Rightful Heir"

Hmmm, for me it's saving either Die Hard or Geordi does Georgia next, so...

"Starship Mine"

is next.

It's not often when Picard can punch the lights out of someone a third to a half of his age, but for the most part he's been inspired by movies like "Home Alone" once all the usual comparisons to "Die Hard" are done.

But it's still a fun story. Just not the greatest. Riker would have been a better choice, though if you swap fisticuffs for riding a horse in the corridors and up turbolifts, then Picard might have been better. But there's no neigh possible to shove a horse in one of those turbolifts, much less a Horta...

What's left:
"Time's Arrow, Part II"
"The Quality of Life"
"Aquiel"
"Lessons"
"Rightful Heir"

Great points, and the Guinan/Ro scenes alone elevate this episode a lot, even if ironic that both have other movies and series to do in order to prevent getting typecast.

I was hoping "Rascals" would win. Terrible, terrible episode for making everyone look so bad. (Though it did have spot on casting for the kids, which is rare for TNG child casting.)
~ I must admit, I try not to think about how the Ferengi managed to take over the Enterprise   But, yes, the kids are brilliant!

Anyway, I'll save "Time's Arrow, Part II" as it is MUCH better than the remaining two.

"Aquiel"
"Lessons"

I'm not very fond of "Lessons" which is a bit of a shame as it is one of Star Trek's better romances. The "woman involved the office romance has to leave" stuck in my craw at the time and still does....(and the body doubling is very badly done). On the other hand, "Aquiel" is just plain dull and Geordi really does come over as a sexual predator.

So the winner is..."Aquiel"
