Best KLINGON..ever

We have seen several important KLINGON characters in TREK's history. From Kor to Kang to Kruge to Chang to Kimpec to Gowron to Worf to Marton and all of the others....of all the Klingons we have ever seen in a movie or episode, which one nailed it..who is your "Absolute Klingon"

Martok
Kurn

I'm still pondering...but this is tougher than I thought. I liked Kurn, but not his eventual fate. I do like Martok as a selection...

I also like Chang because he wasn't your typical 'tough guy' Klingon. And I also liked the make they used on Plummer.

I also like the arc that KOR went through. From his time with kirk, with worf, and his eventual 'final' act on that Klingon ship; helping the rest of the fleet live.

I will have to think about this more...Martok/Chang are my choices so far...

Michael Dorn as Worf is the best Klingon ever. I don't believe that we would ever have had the honorable warrior/bushido Klingons if it wasn't for Dorn. He created something from very little at the beginning of TNG. The writers re-created the Klingon race based on what he did with the character.

i loved chang. i can't nail exactly why i like him, but i can nail that he nailed it for me (that's what she said?)

come to think of it, i also really liked christopher lloyd's klingon in tsfs

maybe it's something about movie klingons, or maybe it's klingon actors named christopher

Worf, Marok and Chang all spring to mind for me. Hmm, two of the three are missing an eye. Worf better watch out.

Worf and Martok.

Worf is a little reserved and not as boisterous as most Klingons we're familiar with, so it would've been nice to see him loosen it up once in a while (like when he's looking after Kirayoshi).

And Martok... well, he has one of my favourite lines of the series, and I think it sums up his character quite well: "War is much more fun when you're WINNING!". :klingon:

Martok is the definitive example of what a Klingon should be. Badass, tough, awesome.
Yeah, he is definitely what more Klingons should have been. He was a warrior, yes, but he was also intelligent and could act with a level head when he needed to.

I love Lursa and Be'Tor, but they were a lot more Romulan in their behavior than they were Klingon.

But sexy too!!

My mom LOVES Lursa and Be'Tor for their costumes alone.

And she refers to Seven of Nine as "Borg Boobs."

I'm a traditionalist. I still think Kor is hard to beat for pure professional meanness, and Kang will never be topped for sheer impressiveness thanks to Ansara's voice.
