Ash vs Evil Dead (new tv series)

Okayyy, that was about the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. Or ever want to see again. :ack:

Otherwise, good, as always-- although "otherwise" was only a tiny part of the episode. Does anybody else think that the security guard is dead and that Kelly is in for some angst?

That entire scene was a bit too much yuck for me. I draw the line at toilet humor but everything else was :techman:
Agreed. Scatalogical humor is one thing that exceeds my tolerance, and that was like the Scatalogical Apocalypse.

His dad continues to entertain me, as did Ash's bedroom decorations. That Suzi Quattro poster alone.
There were so many opportunities for "stumblin' in" jokes.....

This season hasn't quite clicked for me yet, I feel there's still a gear or two left to hit full stride. Lee Majors is awesome as Ash's dad though and has quickly become a fave.

OMG, this show is excelling at "That's Just Wrong!" lately.

I am hankering for a Pink Fuck though.

And the Delta makes a fine Ghost Rider car!

Rule #1: Don't steal Ash's car.

Rule #2: Don't read from the creepy-looking book.

Idiot teenagers.

That was a nice father/son moment... Until it wasn't.

I think Ruby is up to something. :shifty:

It's been kind of a weird tone this season. Like they are taking everything beyond the usual scope of the Raimi movies: gross-out moments, creepy horror, humor and drama. I guess in some way it's perhaps natural things will be amped after the events of the season end but it feels different.

^ I think it was the flames that did it for me. I probably haven't see no Christine since the 80s but don't remember it flaming. Probably Christine or The Car as far as personality/action though.

Well, despite the ending, we did learn at least two new things.

1.) Ash's mother is probably still alive, as she only left his dad rather than him being a widower.
2.) That there's some news that'll change Ash's life forever.

My guess for #2 is that his mother was pregnant when she left him, and Ash has a brother or sister. Why? Because of how his father thought he had murdered his sister, so he kept that information from him in case he decided to go after his new sibling, too.

Overall I really liked this episode though. I especially cracked up at Joxer hitting on Xena in the crass way he went about it. "Care for a Pink Fuck, hold the Pink?" That'd make Donald Trump proud, it would.

Holy Crap.

I sure didn't see that coming-- and neither did Brock. That can't possibly be the end of Lee Majors on the show. I hope.

The possessed car sequences were totally nuts-- and incredibly gruesome. And that girl is still trapped in there as it rampages around, wreaking havoc.

There were some oddly touching moments in this episode for a show that doesn't usually slow down for sentiment. Brock yelling at the fleeing partygoers that his son is a hero, Kelly's moment of despair (that Ruby was able to take advantage of), and the terrorized teenagers screaming that they loved each other through the bloody windshield of the car.

And Ash's PSA at the end. :wtf:

That car out-Ghost Rider-ed Ghost Rider.
Seriously, that car was hilarious, acting like an animal and doing all sorts of crazy stuff.

This was easily the best episode of the season so far.

As for the end, uh, how could you folks not see it coming? It was totally set up.
I am hankering for a Pink Fuck though.
Didn't you watch the after-credit scene?

Seriously, that car was hilarious, acting like an animal and doing all sorts of crazy stuff.

Which in turn reminded me of Bender turned "were-car" in the "Futurama" episode "The Honkening". I half expected it to vocalize, "Honk! Honk! Aroooooo!!!!!"

Well, the possessed car is still tooling around-- anything can happen (and it usually does). :rommie:
