If Daisy doesn't blink out of existence, then timelines don't matter and their real mission is to just go home.

All timelines exist all the time everywhere. Remember that time is just an illusion; how we perceive the 4th dimension. So after seeing the latest episode...
Daisy not blinking out of existence seems to confirm what a lot of people thought. That AoS IS going by Infinity War/Endgame's time travel rules and has been (pre-planned or not) the whole fucking time.
The team ended up in another timeline when they returned from 2091. And now God knows how many timelines they've ended up in this year. Daisy's still with us for the same reason that Deke's still with us. Their original timelines with their original parents still exist out there somewhere.
And this was even confirmed way back when. Remember that Deke's timeline didn't blink out of existence when the team left to change the future. We saw Flint and Tess continue on well past that point.
But yes, I'm sticking by my suspicion from a few weeks back that they're systematically removing or neutralising all of the series original characters from the timeline, so by the end they'll be temporal refugees like Deke in the actual MCU timeline with the twist being this has all been in an alternate universe the whole time. The line about the Triskelion might make or break this theory depending on when it was built in the "original" timeline. We saw it still under construction in '89 in 'Ant-Man', but since most of that thing was underground it could have taken years to get it to that stage...
Whoever is playing the younger, far cockier version of Garrett has very big shoes to fill and so far he ain't doing all that good (too one-dimensionally slimy and cocky)..
Ah, I didn't know that. Cool that he gets to play one of his father's well-known characters as a way to honor his legacy. It's James Paxton![]()

Still...I wasn't impressed.![]()

Didn't we already know that? Mac remembered July 4th with his family despite his parents getting killed.
Fair point...but he should be playing young John Garrett not young Bill Paxton. When I first watched I thought that this young version of John Garrett was pretty over the top. Then I thought more about it and realized that I don't think James Paxton was playing a young John Garrett as much as he was playing a young BILL PAXTON.
If you look at how he talked, reacted, etc... He was pretty similar to his Dad in Aliens.
If that's the case then the MCU has just become a massive confusing mess. I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not.
