Game of Thrones season 2 anticipation - HBO shows footage

Important thing to note is that the Foreign press gets to vote on the awards as well, Game of Thrones is well beloved across the pond.

It did get nominated for best ensemble and best stunt ensemble in this years SAGs.

For all people complaining that HBO stuff isn't on iTunes... Well HBO is apparently making an exception for Game of Thrones - The 1st season will be available for purchase on iTunes on March 6th, same day as the DVD/Blu-ray release.
In that case, why would one bother with iTunes if you can just buy the whole slick DVD package?

HBO has released a new behind-the-scenes clip for Season 2, this time about the Dubrovnik/Croatia location filming: (Dubrovnik is used for Kings Landing and Quarth scenes, and we see a few glimpses of scenes)

For those wondering, Game Of Thrones season 2 starts in the UK, on Sky Atlantic, on April 2nd, a mere day after the US premiere. Yay!

First Extended Trailer for Season 2
Straight from the horse’s mouth:

“... a new trailer for season 2 of GAME OF THRONES will be debuting on HBO this Sunday, at 8:59 pm, just before the series premiere of the new HBO drama, LUCK. This trailer will feature new episodic footage and will be the first extended look at the new season.”

Mark your calendars, folks. And for those who are True Blood fans, HBO also says there’ll be a “short graphic tease” for season 5 of that show at 8:58 PM

I agree, she was fantastic. But they don't nominate kids for Emmys.
Fred Savage was nominated two times as a kid for the wonder years.

What I don't get is why so many people think arya's actress deserves a nomination more than the others? She's very good, but the reason she stands out is because her character appeals to modern views (wants to do the same things that men do, doesn't care about her highborn status etc.), not because the actress is more talented than her castmates.

To be honest, I don't even like Arya that much. People give Sansa shit, but she tries to be a good child and does what is expected from a girl in her position. That she likes dresses and wants to be a princess seems to annoy many people but why? A girl likes traditionally girly things? How dare she, a girl on tv is only good if she acts like a boy, or what? Sansa isn't perfect, but she follows the rules, Arya shits on the rules because her daddy is the lord of winterfell. If people take off their "Arya is awesome" goggles, they should realize that she's actually the most entitled and spoiled Stark child.

Yes, Arya is actually quite a cliche stereotypical character. I think Martin himself realized this, so he made Sansa as naive as she is so that Arya would look better by comparison. Once it was assured that Arya was accepted, he could work on Sansa's character.

This isn't actually for season 2, but this is the only GoT TV series thread I could find so it'll have to do.
Does anyone know why they don't have any kind of release date for GoT S1 on Netflix? Is it just because April 6 (one month after the street date of March 6) is so far away, or are they not getting it for some reason? I just want to make sure they are definitely getting it, so I know I won't have to buy it in order to see it. The only reason I'm worried is because I know some kind of issue popped up between NF and HBO a few months ago, and I wasn't sure if that was going to prevent them from carrying future HBO stuff.
