What Star Trek episodes or films have you been watching lately?

"Ship in a Bottle" and "Timescape"

Popped in a couple of TNG DVDs today, since the Blu-Ray player was unavailable to me. I rather enjoyed both of them. Weird seeing Pat Tallman as an uncredited Romulan in "Timescape." You'd think the role would at least warrant a co-star credit, but I guess not.

nemesis last night. some hogwash like the collection of b4 parts, and the rotational mind rapes of troi and that reman, troi really spoils every movie. got compensated by the most amazing space battle i have ever watched. too good riker got married, his career as enterprise's loverboy is definetely over. must have had 100 lbs overweight, and looked like a man in his fifties.
star trek 11 earlier today. aweful.

I recently got my girlfriend to accept Trek into her life. We've made it through all of the first season of TOS together, and are working on season two every night. Watched, Mirror, Mirror yesterday. (She said Spock looked funny with a beard)

TNG episode: Firstborn is on in 40 minutes.

DS9's "Our Man Bashir"
(Awesome spy themed episode).

TNG's "Unnatural Selection"
(Has nothing to do with the Anakin's fall to the dark-side).

An insane man with a band of spaced-out followers hijacks the Enterprise in his search for Eden. Despite his insanity, he has a strange affinity with Spock. There's also some hijinks in the Neutral Zone that don't amount to much actual jeopardy. In the end, the insane guy dies, and the Enterprise cruises off to its next adventure. Also, there's an ill-advised musical interlude.

I know what you're thinking, why on Earth did I watch Star Trek V: The Final Frontier again. Alas, no, it was just "The Way to Eden," and episode which I haven't seen since syndication in the early 90s and as it turns out, this was for good reason.

Easily the worst episode I've seen so far. No Wonder D.C. Fontana took her name of this heap.

TNG's "Rascals"

Definitely one of my least favorite episodes.

You could make it through that drek and yet couldn't make it through Encounter at Farpoint?

Bill J:

Yeah, well, 40 minutes vs 80 minutes helped.
Plus, I was more focused on gathering facts about the transporter more than anything, too.

TNG's "Rascals"

Definitely one of my least favorite episodes.

A definite head-scratcher, as in "wtf were they thinking when they made this?" Something they thought kids might like to see, I guess? Meh. At any rate, painful.

Flemm:

Yeah, the only two good kid focused episodes within Trek that I can recall is TNG's "Disaster" and VOY's "Once Upon A Time".
At least in my opinion anyways.

As for the best Pubescent (or Teen) focused episodes that would be: TOS's "Charlie X", VOY's "Q-2", DS9's "Explorers", "Nor the Battle to the Strong", "The Visitor", and "In the Cards".
