You can't script anything better. I was really choked up too by the embrace between Sanchez and his father at the end. The father came in to see his son pitch for the first time as a major league player. Good stuff.

They made Bronson Aroyo look like a hall of famer last night. A couple of weak hits and 2 singles for Murphy. Have they been tested for anemia?!?!?
It's not usually the guy you expect. Didn't Lincecum flirt with a no-no the night before?
Alan Embree broke his tibia last night on a comebacker to the mound. Not as bad as the Joe Theisman injury, but you could hear the crack when the ball hit. Ouch!!!

I don't understand why Fox is showing the Angels/Yankees game. I don't mind watching these teams play, but I'm shocked they're not showing the Cubs/Cardinals game.
It's the Yankees. That's all you need to know.

Wow, the Red Sox bullpen is absolutely terrible tonight, like a bunch of little leaguers. I think the front office should do some dealing to shore things up. I would have no problem with Masterson, Okajima, and even Dice-K going on the auction block and Buchholz being brought up to pitch as a mid-reliever.
Of course, it doesn't help that Tichenor doesn't seem to know what a strike zone is.

What is it with the Giants doing badly on a last game of a series. That's pretty much been the case for the last 2 weeks and while winning each series is good, a sweep is better.
