House of Cards?
Thank you Robin, but I preferred the British version.

MST3K comes to mind.Has that ever saved or improved a show?
Those are the ones I'm watching on YT. The rest? Okay sometimes, but TV's Son of Frank isn't funny to me.I don't think cancellation improved MST3K post-1999 (the Jonah and subsequent streaming and Gizmoplex seasons were, at best, a very mixed bag), but the show didn't miss a step when Comedy Central cancelled it in 1996 and the Sci-Fi Channel picked it up. The original 1989-99 cable run is largely fantastic and where 99.9% of my fond memories and feelings about the show originate.
Babylon 5, Law and Order, Doctor Who, Sea Quest, Earth Final Conflict and Blake's Seven?
I always enjoyed Kirsty Alleys Rebecca character in Cheers than Shelly Longs Diane.Has that ever saved or improved a show?

Not sure about Earth Final Conflict. But it's been a very long time since I saw the show. Bewitched did okay with switching Darrin's but I am more a DIck York man myself. Granted not sure if it also counts because Samantha was the main star.Babylon 5, Law and Order, Doctor Who, Sea Quest, Earth Final Conflict and Blake's Seven?

It was okay. It never got as good as the show was back in it's heyday though of the late 80's and early 90's.I never watched it but understand the conners was very good as a rebranded show after Roseanne Barr was sacked
