Ah! Thanks…
I wonder if sisko puts his face in the clouds every time someone does research on him, opens the orb and talks to dax?
Lol
Ah! Thanks…
Most of the time, yes.It was supposed to be sort of gummy.
The reason it wasn't in DS9 was that those were inedible props.
They didn't need to.I really wished they'd retcon that.
Like Sarah and the Prophet were a symbiote or done voluntarily or something.
I'm surprised it never came up in the Expanded Universe.
They didn't need to.
If it had been involuntary Sarah would have reported the possession to Starfleet as soon as the Prophet left her.
A few years later in a hovercar crash. The only mention of hovercars in any series.Didn't she run away and die in a shuttle accident like a week later.
No, she died 3 years later.Didn't she run away and die in a shuttle accident like a week later.
Would that be under Starfleet's jurisdiction? Sarah is a civilian. They didn't need to.

There's a leap.Maybe she abused substances to cope - that'd explain the accident.
No, she died 3 years later.
JOSEPH: It took me three years, but I found out. She was living in Australia working as a holo-photographer.
SISKO: Well, I have to speak with her.
JOSEPH: You can't.
SISKO: Damn it, Dad, I have to.
JOSEPH: She's dead. She died in a hovercraft accident about a month before I tracked her down. I loved that woman and she loved me. I know she did.
There's basically no "story" where possession being involuntary works out.
Because if it was, Sarah would have reported it. If the Prophet erased her memories, she would have investigated the years of missing time instead of running away.
Alien possession of a Federation citizen is absolutely Starfleet's jurisdiction.Would that be under Starfleet's jurisdiction? Sarah is a civilian.
How so? Is their remit to investigate all crimes committed by aliens? The crime happened on Earth, right?Alien possession of a Federation citizen is absolutely Starfleet's jurisdiction.
Regular ice cream was invented a while before someone came up with soft serve, after all.
Saying Sarah would have 'reported it' might be factual in your head but in reality it is a massive assumption. It is heavily implied by the fact that she abandoned Joseph and Ben and never contacted him, that the possession was non-consensual. I mean is the Prophet supposed to have taken Sarah out for coffee and said 'listen, i need to use your body for a year or so because you've been ordained to carry the chosen one' and Sarah just went 'ok' to that? We know from 'The Reckoning' that prophets do just jump into bodies and they don't particularly care about what happens to said body. No, she died 3 years later.
