The worst Star Trek ever

God damn, all the complaining about people's looks is boring.

Not only is Ttek not real, it's rather ridiculous in many respects. We like it anyway.

We get it. There are people you don't like looking at. So what?
Aside from a large amount of content that feels deliberately tailored to niche, non-mainstream audiences, I see no real depth in this show at all.

I can rewatch TNG, DS9, VOY, and ENT over and over again, but after watching SAF once, I had no desire to ever watch it a second time. It is painful to watch.

The worst Star Trek??? Nope....not in any way. Discovery and Picard are worse...even when there no real bad Star Trek series at all, I mean you can watch them all without wasting time. But I am kinda shocked about all the hate in the internet against STA. I don't get it, is it because the main character is black? Would be a sad reason...

That's not the reason people hate it; Sisko is also black, and people like DS9.
People hate it because the plot is written by people who have no experience with structured environments like the military or the navy. The SFA is like DIS Pro Max.

The POC representation, the LGTBQ representation, the mere existence of people who aren't at optimum body weight, people in wheelchairs, the captain isn't military enough (whatever that means), somethingsomethingsomething canon violation, #discosux, "what about Legacy?", ect;

I don't get what you mean. Can you tell me anything you think the SFA is better than VOY and ENT?

Terrible casting and character design. Forget acting ability for a moment,none of the characters give me any reason to keep watching. Compared to classic Star Trek, this is a straight-up aesthetic regression. And it gets even worse: one of the characters is a hologram, which in theory should be able to freely control its physical appearance. Yet it chooses to look like an obese person, with two ridiculous spheres on its head like Mickey Mouse. It looks absurd and ugly, completely breaks immersion, and honestly feels like a bad joke rather than Star Trek.
Several of the actors are clearly overweight, and the hologram character is portrayed as if it lacks even basic intelligence.
If you honestly don't find that grinning, Mickey-Mouse-looking obese hologram—or the gay Klingon who's skinny as a stick visually painful to watch, then I really have nothing more to say.
You are free to voice your dislike of the show in a reasonable fashion (i.e. not obviously designed to piss people off), and many posters seem to be able to do that just fine, but this kind of language — including body shaming as well as vaguely racist and homophobic rhetoric — does not fly on the Trek BBS. I’ll refer you to the forum rules. If there is to be any chance of a future for you here, you will have to tone it done considerably. So this is a warning for trolling. Comments to PM. The thread will stay closed.
