I haven't watched the video. But de-aged William Shatner Kirk using the Roddenberry Archive Fancy Snapchat Filter™ is my guess.

While I think I would greatly enjoy the comedic prospects of such an episode, I kinda doubt they would go with a deep cut like this. Also, I think it would really depend on how much they manage to have the EMH backup be a different character, since he’s had different experiences. Could make for a really interesting premise, but would they trust the audience to remember such an obscure episode?i hope they remember that the backup module EMH from Living Witness is out there , around this time period. Would be great if he arrived and met the 'real' EMH
You know, I actually think this could work really well and might be a nice homage to Archer and Enterprise. They're going to make all of "United" be an episode where the cadets go through a historical simulation hologram a la TATV, aren't they?

Besides, before they introduce a second version of the Doctor, I’d really like to know more about the original. What did he do during those 800 years? Why doesn’t he have a rank by now? While I think I would greatly enjoy the comedic prospects of such an episode, I kinda doubt they would go with a deep cut like this. So far, all we know is that he sings opera at events, he’s still snarky, and he’s been given an aging subroutine. I really hope he doesn’t fall victim to the modern Trek problem of background characters whose backstories are barely explored.
It's Trip people! TRIP!!!!!!! Told you he wasn't dead!![]()
That doesn't count! We've seen Trip though:
Edit: And Neelix.
That doesn't count!
I mean he is the most important person in Starfleet history.Miles O'Brien (a big get, but seems random)
Wouldn't the Backup EMH's trip have happened directly before or after the Burn?i hope they remember that the backup module EMH from Living Witness is out there , around this time period. Would be great if he arrived and met the 'real' EMH
Use both interchangeably throughout the episode with absolutely no explanation.I would love to see James T Kirk. Is Paul Wesley or Chris Pine available?

SFA will automatically become my favourite Trek show if they do this, and give Trip a proper conclusion he deservesIt's Trip people! TRIP!!!!!!! Told you he wasn't dead!![]()
