At the least, a whole lot of carpentry, and urban planning on that basis? I don’t mean modern metropolises, but basic low-level Viking-to-medieval town building would be possible.

And as noted, the stated point of the post was that I don’t feel the same way anymore, so I’m not sure what argument you seem to want to have?

I misread your post. I thought you still had an issue with them abandoning technology.
