Giving STO Another Try

Hah, could be. Back then I just played it for stupid fun and didn't care about the Fleet shit and stuff. Now I kinda wanna try to get the best out of it you know?

I was in the TrekBBS fleet, but think there was a change of leaders who decided to cast out inactive players (whereas half the point was that didn’t apply to members of the BBS) so not sure I have a character thee anymore. Shame. I helped build that starbase. Could be wrong.
I almost certainly still have access to some fleets, I believe I am a guaranteed lifetime member of Bajoran Nuns on Pogo Sticks for example. If I ever find time to resume play, I can probably wrangle invites.

Yeah it was given away to one of the big fleets who collect smaller fleets, and at the time a few here tried to stop it happening, but unfortunately the wrong person managed to claim the fleet one day and that was that, but it is still around in name, but it is now just one of many satallite fleets amongst a big collection of fleets................the Trekbbs Klingon fleets is also still there.

It's handy to be in any fleet just for the boost you get on xp and such.

Also, I read on the Wiki for STO that at level 60 you would get a token for a T4-U ship, but I didn't. Was that removed from the game?

At this point any fleet will do, try and get into one that is finished so everything is opened, Fleet Provisions, Fleet Credits, Fleet XP boost, i think it is 5%, plus fleet ship............and some other things.....i am in a fleet but apart from doing to odd fleet credit thing, that is about as much interaction as i get with being in a fleet....and yes i think there are a couple of free ships you get access to once in a fleet, but the fleets has to have their stuff open to get the ship, so as i said, find one with everything done, which is easy as they have been about for some time now.

I think Vice Admiral gives you a T5-U coupon, unless they changed it? I can't remember what level that is.
