Fair enough.

Solely?
You think the producers just picked Delancey out of a bunch of audition tapes?![]()
This was something I was actively watching out for. They really drew attention to Ortegas's hand last episode, only for it to just be repaired without much fuss. What is the most severe limb injury we've seen get completely fixed? Nog lost a leg and Martok an eye over 100 years later, but they just had to live with those. That seems to be beyond the eras technical capabilities from the original continuity imo.... I'm not really complaining because I think the timeline has been rewritten but TOS medical technology seemed a bit limited, they couldn't even help miramanee.
???Nog lost a leg and Martok an eye over 100 years later, but they just had to live with those.
It was confirmed in an interview he’s intended to be the Q we know.Yeah, Trelane's a Q, but his father isn't necessarily THE Q. Given the fact every member of the Continuum with the exceptions of Trelane and Quinn go by "Q" as an identifier and even formal name, why can't another Q also have John De Lancie's voice?
So....he's a Q. The father's voice gives it away even if the episode itself was very coy about who Trelane was. It's clear this is Trelane from after his encounter with the Enterprise crew in TOS and that's why he tells Spock he's always amused by his behavior. Older Trelane is still a petulant troublemaker and the rest like him (*ahem*) clearly don't impose enough parental discipline on this guy. This now makes twice he's interfered with the same Federation starship, chastised and had to be called back inside by his family.![]()
Standard medical treatment.Spock didn't have hair on his chest in season one, but now he does. I wonder how he justifies the logic of shaving his chest for a while.![]()
He's morphing into the nimoy Spock. Chest hair and losing Chapel were the first steps. Next will be the further purging of all the emotion he's been showing to go with the chest hair. LolSpock didn't have hair on his chest in season one, but now he does. I wonder how he justifies the logic of shaving his chest for a while.![]()
Trelane is QJ. Wow! That's gonna necessitate massive rewrites on Memories Alpha and Beta.
Is there a thread yet for SNW season 3 ships yet? There's a lot in the intro and I saw a compact four-naceller at SB1.
10/10
He got a replacement leg, but I always assumed it was a prosthetic, not that they regrew his biological one. The eye detail is fair though, although as we see when Geordi gets one, it's a mechanical device, not repairing his biological eyes???
Nog got a replacement leg, there was an entire episode devoted to him adjusting to it. Martok "just living with" losing an eye has more to do with Klingon mentality, the lost eye is a battle scar he's proud to display.
Meh. She's in Starfleet. You become an admiral and you'll be evil too.Ortegas had better be careful especially with that ending. The best starpilot in the galaxy of that other Star franchise went bad after too much post-combat trauma.
Considering the guy I was referring to literally became the number 2 man in the galaxy I was talking about a potential moral downfall, not a career one.Meh. She's in Starfleet. You become an admiral and you'll be evil too.
You don't think becoming a badamiral is not a moral downfall?Considering the guy I was referring to literally became the number 2 man in the galaxy I was talking about a potential moral downfall, not a career one.
I think an evil admiral is a moral downfall and it's possible Ortegas is indeed responsible for any shady TOS episodes. Or maybe she's in on the Khitomer conspiracy as an old lady, we can't blame it all on Cartwright can we?You don't think becoming a badamiral is not a moral downfall?
Sorry, maybe just a regular evil Starfleet officer gone rogue, like Eddington?
